Mazzaroth – the Gospel in the Stars

Or loose the cords of Orion?

“ Can you lead forth a constellation in its season,
And guide the Bear with her satellites?

“Do you know the ordinances of the heavens,

Or fix their rule over the earth? – Job 38:31-33

“Mazzaroth” is the Hebrew word for “Constellation” or star groupings in the cosmos that are visible from earth by the naked eye. The world mazzaroth is only found once in the Bible in the book of Job which is believed to be the oldest book in the Bible, written before Moses’ account of creation. Now most Bible commentators do not see anything significant in these verses other than the fact that God has ordained the way certain constellations appear overhead throughout the year. In other words, God has fixed certain stars in the Heavens and has ordained the pattern of their appearance by the His physical laws that govern planetary motion so they reappear in almost the exact same position each year. And this is what the word of God declares in Genesis 1:14.

Then God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signs and for seasons and for days and years; – Genesis 1:14

Yes, God has ordained the stars to mark the “seasons, days and years” but God has also ordained them for “signs”. A sign according to the word of God is a prediction of a future event revealed to a prophet by God and then that prediction occurs exactly as foretold. The “sign” can be anything that reveals God will to someone, like a fleece of wool that Gideon laid out in the night air to prove that God would use him to deliver Israel (Judges 6:36-40). And God uses signs in the Heavens to announce major events on earth so we should watch the stars but God does want us to worship stars, like the Godless nations of the past or like New Age people do today when they consult Astrology signs as a means to predict actions and their future. God repeatedly warned against this kind of practice!

Thus says the LORD: “Learn not the way of the nations, nor be dismayed at the signs of the heavens because the nations are dismayed at them, – Jeremiah 10:2

This is what the LORD says: “Do not act like the other nations, who try to read their future in the stars. Do not be afraid of their predictions, even though other nations are terrified by them. – Jeremiah 10:2 NLT

When they heard the king, they departed; and behold, the star which they had seen in the East went before them, till it came and stood over where the young Child was. – Matthew 2:9

While Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will all this happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming and of the end of the age?” – Matthew 24:3

A sign in the Heavens is not some “man made” interpretation of how the planets and stars effect your life like a daily Horoscope reading but it is a specific cosmic sign that God declares to mark a specific things He has done or is going to do in the future. For instance God made a sign in the Heavens when he caused the sun to stay in the sky for an extra day while the Israel prevailed in battle (Joshua 10:12). And God caused the to earth spin backwards so shadows reversed their course 10 steps on a stairway to prove to Hezekiah that he would live extra 15 years (Isaiah 38:7). And God made a special star that the wise men followed to Bethlehem to see the birth of Jesus (Matthew 2:2). But, man corrupts the teaching of the Bible to change the “star in the east” to mean the “Eastern Star”, the star Sirius, the most significant star in Satanism. It is not a coincidence that the “Easter Star” is the name the Freemason woman call their organization, since the worship to Satan, Lucifer, the bight and morning star, is the main purpose of Freemasons. Some people think the Sirius star is the Bethlehem star, the “bright morning star”, and this may be true since Lucifer/Satan tries to steal the glory of God’s light as he masquerades as an Angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14).

Note, however, that most signs from God are not revealed by planets and stars but they are revealed through His prophet such as the miracles that Moses did to bring the Jews out of Egypt or through His disciple like the healing ministry of Peter and Paul. And the most significant sign that God exists is when God the Son came down from Heaven, born of a virgin and took on flesh, lived a perfect life and died in our place to take away our sin … then rose from the grave! Yes, God’s Son is a sign that God exist and He has a plan for our redemption from sin because Jesus said “when you have seen Me you have seen the Father (John 14:9)“. Isn’t it interesting that the birth of Jesus was accompanied by a “sign in Heaven” the “Bethlehem star” that appeared at the time of Jesus birth and the some Heavenly Sign of light appeared when the magi from Babylon appeared in Jerusalem seeking to worship the King of the Jews and lead them to Bethlehem (Matthew 2:1-12).

The sign of God’s Spirit seals a believer and lives within the believer after salvation and guides the believer to understand the truth of His word and gives the believer assurance of a good eternal future with God (Ephesians 1:13). However, Adam didn’t have the sign of the Holy Spirit within him after he sinned in the Garden of Eden and Adam didn’t have God’s written word. But Adam did have God’s verbal promise that a Messiah would come one day and crush Satan (Genesis 3:15). And many Bible commentators think that God also gave Adam an understanding of the details of how this promise would be fulfilled by the message in the stars, the 12 constellations of the zodiac, the Mazzaroth.

Unfortunately, what happened over time is that the message in the stars of a virgin birth from God that would bring a suffering Savior to rule the world was corrupted into “false gods” and star worship. The sun god “Ra” became the main god of the Egyptians and Horus the “moon god” was his son from the birth of the virgin “Isis” after the death of her husband Osiris. I find it interesting the the moon has no light of it’s own but reflects the light of the sun which is what Jesus said when he walked the earth as the Son of God “when you have seen me you have seen the Father” (John 14:9). And this is how the purpose for our lives as born again believers, we are to shine the light of Christ that is within us for all others to see.

Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.” – John 8:12

But the true light of Christ is corrupted by the false light of Satan. The Egyptian mythology of gods were inherited from the Sumerians who made up false gods based on the false stories concerning Nimrod who tried to build the tower of Babel after the flood. And the corruption about the true God and the message in the stars continued to the Greeks and Roman gods and onto all the false gods of Arabia that were combined by Mohammad into Allah, the false god of Islam. Note, that each miracle Moses performed was a sign that the God of the Jews ruled over the false gods of the Egyptians, including covering the Ra the sun god with darkness. And when God kills the first born child of the Egyptians who are not protected by the blood of the lamb over their doors, God proves that He has the right of life of the first born and only those who are covered by the blood of the lamb (which represents the sacrifice of His only begotten Son, Jesus) will live.

Now, before we get into discussing exactly how the stars tell the gospel story, I’d like to take some time to discuss how stars represent God’s glory and the stars represent the glory of His created beings.

Jesus and Satan are both called the “Morning Star”

Isaiah 14:12: “How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations!”

Revelation 22:16 I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you about these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.

Numbers 24:17 I see him, but not now;
    I behold him, but not near:
a star shall come out of Jacob,
    and a scepter shall rise out of Israel;
it shall crush the forehead of Moab
    and break down all the sons of Sheth.

Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.” – John 8:12

“No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. – 2 Corinthians 11:14”

Though Jesus and Satan share the same title as “morning star” they are not on equal footing. Jesus is not a created being, He is part of the trinity, the God Head who created everything (Genesis 1:26), while Satan on the other hand is a created being, “the anointed cherub who covers” (Ezekiel 28:14). For example, both Jesus and Satan are seen as lions but Jesus is the “royal” lion from the tribe of Judah that reigns and rules with righteousness like the king of the jungle (Revelation 5:5), while Satan is seen as a lion on the prowl looking for someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8). The morning star is the star that outshines all the other stars. Satan was the Angel or cherub in Heaven who covered the throne of God. He was the praise leader giving the most praise to God and leading other Angels in praise and worship. Before Satan fell in sin, he was known as “Lucifer“, the Angel outshining all the others but after his fall, Satan became the great deceiver, who spreads lies and doubt about the goodness of God. This is why Paul warns us to beware of deceptive teaching in the church which appears to “enlighten us” with knowledge that gives us significance outside of our significance in Christ.

Genesis 1: 1In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters. 3Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. 4God saw that the light was good; and God separated the light from the darkness. 5God called the light day, and the darkness He called night. And there was evening and there was morning, one day.

Light is the power giving source of the Universe. We call it electromagnetic energy. Stars have massive amounts of size “matter” and therefore they have a large amount of “gravity” which causes the Hydrogen and Helium that make up the star to collide and react as a hydrogen bomb, called nuclear fusion. As hydrogen explodes on the surface of a star it release massive amount of electromagnetic energy that is radiated into the cosmos as light. Our Sun star sends light “energy” to earth which allows plants to convert carbon dioxide and water into sugar (for their living energy) while releasing oxygen into the atmosphere (photosynthesis). Then in turn, the living creatures of earth eat the plants (which contain sugar, complex carbohydrates and even protein) and consume the oxygen and water while releasing carbon dioxide into atmosphere (digestion). It’s just another wonderful system of order that God has created and blessed us with!

Humans can exist without sunlight, say inside a space capsule, but this existence is limited to the degree electromagnetic energy can be extracted from the cosmos to make “oxygen, water and light” to grow plants to feed us. But guess, what? The electromagnetic energy of the universe is dying because the chemical reaction that makes light also creates “heat” and as heat increases in a system the ability to perform a chemical reaction decreases until it reaches a point where the system is “dead” and no chemical reactions can take place. You see, when Adam sinned not only did he cause man to die physical and spiritually but everything God created started to die, including the cosmos (Genesis 2:17).

The cosmos is dying from “heat death” which a law of physics called the 2nd law of Thermodynamics. As mass converts to energy by fusion reaction, it uses up the mass and leaves behind “heat” or entropy. Entropy is a measure of the “dis-order” or chaos of a system, the higher the entropy of a system, the closer to death it is. When God looked over the matter of the cosmos it was dead (Genesis 1:2) and He brought life to the system in the form of “light” (Genesis 1:3). The time that Jesus “worked” on creation is called the day and the time He slept or paused from working on creation is called the “night”, for Jesus is the light of the world (John 8:12). Look at the description of the New Heaven and Earth.

“And there will no longer be any night; and they will not have need of the light of a lamp nor the light of the sun, because the Lord God will illumine them; and they will reign forever and ever.” – Revelation 22:5

In the New Heaven and Earth there is no longer a time of night, or a time when we need the Sun for light unpon the earth because we will always be in the presence of the “Son” who is the light. Look, the night time of darkness on earth is not a time when Jesus steps away from working because really when it’s night on one side of the earth, it’s light on the other side. Jesus is always working (John 5:17), yet Jesus used the term “night” to indicate a time of death, a person’s death, even His own death.

“We must work the works of Him who sent Me as long as it is day; night is coming when no one can work.” – John 9:4

Jesus did the will of the Father on earth, living a perfect life in the flesh while He walked the earth as a man and He dyed in our place upon the cross, satisfying the righteousness of God and becoming our righteousness. All we have to do is accept the free gift of salvation from Him and we have eternal life! Here’s something else to consider, in the New Heaven and Earth there is NO night because there is NO death … death and those who are Spiritually dead have been cast into the Lake of Fire (Revelation 20:14).

Well there you go … I took off rambling again … but the point I am making is that Christ is the source of light and power and energy in the cosmos. Jesus infused life into dead matter and put the matter into “order” so there was no entropy or death, and God rested on the seventh day … for all of creation was good. The point is the cosmos is dying like we are dying. Even if man found a way to keep his body alive for millions of years, eventually he would have no place to live in the cosmos because there would be no energy to sustain his body. Scientist agree the the physical universe will not last forever … it’s days are numbered. It’s foolish to ignore the inevitability of death and live only for the pleasures of this material world. Only by receiving the “eternal Spiritual light of Christ” can we live beyond the limits of this physical world.

Scientist like to explain that the cosmos was caused by a “Big Bang” where all matter (don’t know where it came from) suddenly collapsed (don’t know why) and then exploded (don’t know how or what energy source caused the explosion) to make all the stars, planets and solar systems. But as you can see the “heat death” law doesn’t allow for the dead matter to do anything but stay dead. Someone outside of matter must provide “energy” to bring to life what is dead. This is what God did when He said “Let there be light” (Genesis 1:3). And God formed each stars and planet in the cosmos, mainly focusing on planet earth, His prize planet for His creation … man. This is another mistake scientist make when they claim that a “Big Bang” of matter will disperse matter in such a way that the gravity attracting force of matter will automatically cause matter to come together to make planets, stars and solar systems. But this theory, like most theories that exclude God, is not scientifically sound or provable or possible. The size and orbits of the planets in our solar system are so specifically ordered that a faction of a variation would not allow life on planet earth. And of course the “Signs in the Heavens”, the Mazzaroth are put there to tell the story of the gospel of Jesus Christ. The amazing order of our solar system is a sign from God that He created it for life!

For nothing is hidden that will not become evident, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light. – Luke 8:17

But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day would overtake you like a thief;

Throw out the worthless slave into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. – Matthew 25:30

When the presence of God lead the Jews through the wilderness, He was a “fiery light” by night and a cloud by the day. When Moses spent time with God, his face radiated with light from being in the light of God’s presence. The Truth is seen as light that exposes the lies that hide in darkness. The ultimate judgement comes when those who reject Christ as Savior die and spend eternity in “outer darkness”. This place is the “Lake of Fire”, place of torment, a lake that has no water and a fire that has not light. It is probably like a solitary confinement cell that is pitch black where you are left with only your sinful thoughts of how great you think you are while at the same time you blame everyone else for your misery … for all eternity.

Sin is like darkness, in that sin is not something created but it is something that occurs when there is a “lack of light” or a “lack of God’s goodness”. Because Adam sinned, we are born without the light of Christ in us, with a self indulgent nature (sin). We naturally do what appeals to us because we do not have the Spiritual light of Christ in us to help us choose God’s will. Our “sin-clination” is to glorify self and glorify man, which is pride. Pride is a “supernova” of light that we generate by our works and our boasting until it suddenly it explodes, leaving us with nothing but a “black hole” of darkness where even light cannot exist.

It is really foolish and crazy to think we have the ability to generate light or create anything that is lasting on our own. God’s permissive will allows us to live and do things in this world but in all honesty we don’t understand what really powers and holds this world together. The only proof there is life after death is from the proof of the resurrected Jesus who said “I am the way, the truth and the life” – John 14:6. We don’t know how our thoughts are held together or how our thoughts came into being. And more importantly, our thoughts are who we truly are … our soul .. not our body. Our body and brain is like a robot that runs by the commands of “our thoughts and our will” which is who we are … “I think, therefore I am”. It is not our brain, a collection of chemicals and cells, that tells us what to do or who to be but “our soul” uses our brain to get input from the world so we can reason about what is true and answer the question of why we are here. Unfortunately, many people don’t want to think critically about their existence and they remain slaves to their thoughts that are separated from God. Thoughts separated from the Spirit of God lead to both a physical death and a Spiritual death. The only way to get an eternal life of good thoughts and a body that lives forever is through salvation in Jesus Christ!

Angels are called stars with names and ranking order.

Job 38:⁶On what were its bases sunk,
    or who laid its cornerstone,
⁷when the morning stars sang together
    and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

Psalm 148:Praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord from the heavens;
    praise him in the heights!
²Praise him, all his angels;
    praise him, all his hosts!
³Praise him, sun and moon,
    praise him, all you shining stars!

You alone are the Lord; You have made heaven, The heaven of heavens, with all their host, The earth and everything on it, The seas and all that is in them, And You preserve them all. The host of heaven worships You. – Nehemiah 9:6

Lift up your eyes on high And see who has created these stars, The One who leads forth their host by number, He calls them all by name; Because of the greatness of His might and the strength of His power, Not one of them is missing – Isaiah 40:26

Psalm 147:4 He determines the number of the stars; He gives to all of them their names.

Jeremiah 33:22 As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, nor the sand of the sea measured, so will I multiply the descendants of David My servant and the Levites who minister to Me.’”

The heavens declare the glory of God;
And the firmament proclaims the work of his hands.
Day unto day utters speech,
And night to night proclaims knowledge.
There are no speeches or words,
Of which their voices are not heard.
Their voice is gone out into all the earth,
And their words to the ends of the world. – Psalm 19

Genesis 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished.

God names and numbers the stars, like He names and numbers the Angels and like He names and numbers all His creation, including man. Now, an Angel’s body is not a star but stars shine and fill the Universe with light, like the Angels praise and surround the throne of God with the light of their presence. The great multitude of stars bear witness of a great creation and a Great creator. The stars shining in the Heavens declare the glory of God’s creation like the Angels who are in Heaven before the throne declare His glory in song! Note, the Bible refers to three Heavens, the first Heaven is the sky or atmosphere of earth, the second Heaven is the cosmos of the stars and “Third Heaven” is the unseen Spiritual realm of God. The Spiritual realm is as real and tangible as the physical realm where we live and breath.

John 4:24 “God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”

God is Spirit, in the sense that God is not limited by a body, yet the Son of God took on the form of a human body for all eternity. How can we understand this? For even the Angels long to look into this sacrificial act of salvation performed by God Himself (1 Peter 1:12). God is three persons (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) which are “one” in mind, body and Spirit … while while man and Angels, are one person with three parts (body, soul and spirit). Angels have a glorified body that worships before the throne of God and one day resurrected man will have a glorified body and join the Heavenly host of Angels in praising God! But what does the body of an Angel look like? First let’s discuss the Living Beings or Creatures who are part of the Heavenly Host but are not Angels.

Revelation 4: 5Out from the throne come flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder. And there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God; 6and before the throne there was something like a sea of glass, like crystal; and in the center and around the throne, four living creatures full of eyes in front and behind. 7The first creature was like a lion, and the second creature like a calf, and the third creature had a face like that of a man, and the fourth creature was like a flying eagle. 8And the four living creatures, each one of them having six wings, are full of eyes around and within; and day and night they do not cease to say,

“HOLY, HOLY, HOLY is THE LORD GOD, THE ALMIGHTY, WHO WAS AND WHO IS AND WHO IS TO COME.”
9And when the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, to Him who lives forever and ever, 10the twenty-four elders will fall down before Him who sits on the throne, and will worship Him who lives forever and ever, and will cast their crowns before the throne, saying, 11“Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they existed, and were created.”

When John is transported to Heaven, He sees the throne of God and the four living Creatures or beings that surround the throne of God. In John’s vision there are each of these living Creatures has a different face and each has six wings

Ezekiel 1: 4As I looked, behold, a storm wind was coming from the north, a great cloud with fire flashing forth continually and a bright light around it, and in its midst something like glowing metal in the midst of the fire. 5Within it there were figures resembling four living beings. And this was their appearance: they had human form. 6Each of them had four faces and four wings. 7Their legs were straight and their feet were like a calf’s hoof, and they gleamed like burnished bronze. 8Under their wings on their four sides were human hands. As for the faces and wings of the four of them, 9their wings touched one another; their faces did not turn when they moved, each went straight forward.10As for the form of their faces, each had the face of a man; all four had the face of a lion on the right and the face of a bull on the left, and all four had the face of an eagle. 11Such were their faces. Their wings were spread out above; each had two touching another being, and two covering their bodies. 12And each went straight forward; wherever the spirit was about to go, they would go, without turning as they went. 13In the midst of the living beings there was something that looked like burning coals of fire, like torches darting back and forth among the living beings. The fire was bright, and lightning was flashing from the fire. 14And the living beings ran to and fro like bolts of lightning.

Yet when Ezekiel sees the four living Creatures each one has four faces and four wings with human form. I think these living Creatures are Seraphim and there are also Cherubim Creatures that cover the Ark of God and they have two wings. I am going to do some more research on this but from what I understand the Cherubim and Seraphim are a special type of Being that are part of the Heavenly Host but most Angels have human shape and appearance and do not have wings, including Archangels like Michael. First let’s look at the Angles as they appear in the sky.

2 Kings 6: 15Now when the attendant of the man of God had risen early and gone out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was circling the city. And his servant said to him, “Alas, my master! What shall we do?” 16So he answered, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” 17Then Elisha prayed and said, “O LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” And the LORD opened the servant’s eyes and he saw; and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

When Elisha saw the Heavenly host surrounding him, he saw them as an army on horses with riders that are like chariots of fire. At this time the Heaven host of Angels didn’t rescue Elisha but the Lord struck the army of the Arameans with blindness. This allow Elisha to lead them into the Samaria camp where their their blindness was restored but they were humiliated and Elisha allowed them to return to Aram.

2 Kings 2: 9When they had crossed over, Elijah said to Elisha, “Ask what I shall do for you before I am taken from you.” And Elisha said, “Please, let a double portion of your spirit be upon me.” 10He said, “You have asked a hard thing. Nevertheless, if you see me when I am taken from you, it shall be so for you; but if not, it shall not be so.” 11As they were going along and talking, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire and horses of fire which separated the two of them. And Elijah went up by a whirlwind to heaven. 12Elisha saw it and cried out, “My father, my father, the chariots of Israel and its horsemen!” And he saw Elijah no more. Then he took hold of his own clothes and tore them in two pieces.

This is similar to the welcome party that came to take Elijah from the earth! They are called horsemen, so they must have the appearance of men with a fiery aura around which is the chariot of their covering when they are in the mid-Heaven … i.e. the air. In this state the Angels are invisible to the naked eye unless you have the Spiritual gift that Elisha had or you are given this Spiritual gift for a specific purpose, like the servant of Elisha received. I think the Fallen Angels sometimes reveal themselves in the air and this is why we have reports of UFOs. The Fallen Angels are up to no good but the Good Angles are ministering spirits that are sent to help men and women (Hebrews 1:14). They can give messages to you, provide food for you and defend you from danger!

Revelation 19: 11And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war. 12His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many diadems; and He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself.13He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. 14And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses. 15From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty. 16And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”

The Angels appear as fiery men upon horses when they are in the air but when the resurrected Saints come on horses with Jesus at the end of the Tribulation they are men in white robes, not in fiery chariots. Yet believers have the light of Christ and the oil of the Holy Spirit so we also shine like the stars! “Those who have insight will shine brightly like the brightness of the expanse of heaven, and those who lead the many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever. – Daniel 12:3 . Somehow, horses appear to be involved in travel when Angels or resurrected Saints go from the Spiritual realm to the Physical realm? Yet, when Angles are manifest on earth there is no mention of the horse and their appearance is not fiery, although sometimes very bright. But other times when Angels are manifest on earth they look just like men. You probably would not even know you were talking to an Angel unless you picked a fight with one or one came to rescue you … then you would know them by their super human strength. Note, these Angles do not have wings!

Genesis 19: 1Now the two angels came to Sodom in the evening as Lot was sitting in the gate of Sodom. When Lot saw them, he rose to meet them and bowed down with his face to the ground. 2And he said, “Now behold, my lords, please turn aside into your servant’s house, and spend the night, and wash your feet; then you may rise early and go on your way.” They said however, “No, but we shall spend the night in the square.” 3Yet he urged them strongly, so they turned aside to him and entered his house; and he prepared a feast for them, and baked unleavened bread, and they ate. 4Before they lay down, the men of the city, the men of Sodom, surrounded the house, both young and old, all the people from every quarter; 5and they called to Lot and said to him, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us that we may have relations with them.”

When Lot sees the two Angels, he sees “men” who were strangers or visitors to the city of Sodom and Gomorrah. Lot tries to protect these two visitors from the wicked men of the city who want to have homosexual sex with them. Lot is a mixed bag of good and bad, since his heart has a good intent to care for the visitors but method of offering his daughters for sex to the wicked men is a bad plan … yet Lot is righteous man (2 Peter 2:7). This is why the Lord rescued Lot before He destroyed the city. And in a similar way Jesus will rescue His righteous Bride before He brings His 7 years of judgement upon the earth.

Genesis 18:2 When he lifted up his eyes and looked, behold, three men were standing opposite him; and when he saw them, he ran from the tent door to meet them and bowed himself to the earth.

And when Abraham see the three men coming toward him, one of the men is the Lord and the other two are Angels, he prepares a meal for them.

John 20:12 and she saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and one at the feet, where the body of Jesus had been lying.

When Mary sees the Angels who have rolled back the stone on the grave of Jesus, she sees men in white robes but there is also something unique about them (perhaps a glow or their robes so white) where she recognizes them as Angels . (Note, the Angels rolled back the stone NOT so Jesus could get out but so that Mary and the disciples could look in – Matthew 28:2).

Hebrews 13:2 Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it.

And then Paul tells us that we should show hospitality to strangers like Lot did, this is because we Angels look like men when they reveal their body. That’s right, Angels look like men.

Genesis 6: 1Now it came about, when men began to multiply on the face of the land, and daughters were born to them, 2 that the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves, whomever they chose. 3Then the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, because he also is flesh; nevertheless his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.” 4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men, and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.

What can I say, God likes the human design so much that He took on this form for all eternity. As stated before Jesus said “when you have seen Me you have seen the Father (John 14:9)“. And this is how the “fallen Angels” were able to marry and have offspring with the daughters of men (Genesis 6:2). “Some” of the “fallen” Angels manifested from the Spiritual realm onto earth with human like bodies and since their DNA is very similar to a human species they were able to have sexual relations with woman and pro-create a giant hybrid breed called Nephilim. These Nephilim creatures were human like but filled with violence and more like wild animals in nature. The fallen Angels polluted the gene pool of men to the point that they endangered God’s promise to bring a Messiah though the line of Adam. This is why God had to act and flood the earth and lock up the Angels in “Tartarus” who transgressed in this way (Jude 6-7, 2 Peter 2:4-5).

“I will multiply your descendants as the stars of heaven, and will give your descendants all these lands; and by your descendants all the nations of the earth shall be blessed” – Genesis 26:4

When God blesses Abraham, He does so by referencing the stars in the heaven. The uncountable number of stars represents the magnitude of God’s blessing toward Abraham and more importantly it represents God’s heart toward the family. God desires a “big” family, with God the more the merrier is true indeed! For it is one thing to be blessed by being born a Jew but only by being “born again” by faith, like Abraham was, can you be born into the eternal family of God.

Genesis 27: 9Now he had still another dream, and related it to his brothers, and said, “Lo, I have had still another dream; and behold, the sun and the moon and eleven stars were bowing down to me.” 10He related it to his father and to his brothers; and his father rebuked him and said to him, “What is this dream that you have had? Shall I and your mother and your brothers actually come to bow ourselves down before you to the ground?” 11His brothers were jealous of him, but his father kept the saying in mind.

When God communicated with Joseph, He does so through dreams and visions and this vision is one of a heavenly sign. Did stars align over the earth in the way that Joseph saw in his vision on the day that the day that Joseph’s brother came and bowed down to him asking for food? More than likely “yes” but Joseph’s brothers were no more likely to have been aware of this sign in the Heavens than they were aware of the fact that they were talking to their long lost brother, whom they sold into slavery.

Angels battle in Heaven to achieve God’s will and purpose on earth.

And He placed His right hand on me, saying, “Do not be afraid; I am the first and the last, 18and the living One; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades. 19“Therefore write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will take place after these things. 20“As for the mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden lampstands: the seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.

Psalm 91:11 For He will give His angels charge concerning you, To guard you in all your ways.

Matthew 18:11 See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that their angels in heaven continually see the face of My Father who is in heaven.

There can be no doubt we are engaged in a conflict on earth that is also being waged in Heaven. Good Angels in Heaven are battling bad Angels in Heaven for the souls of men on earth. Now, you may be thinking, “I’m not experiencing any conflict, life is good for me”. Well, if this is the case you are probably not saved by Christ or living for Christ, therefore you are not engaged in the Spiritual battle for God’s Kingdom. You probably have no real witness for Christ and no ministry to others for Christ. If you are saved you will enter into the Kingdom but you won’t enjoy the rewards of “good works” that you have done in Jesus’ name while on earth. And this is actually Satan’s tactic of deception, to keep believers and unbelievers busy with worldly concerns and pleasure as they build their own kingdom so they don’t focus and pray and fight and battle to build God’s Kingdom.

The seven Angels that guard over the seven churches are seven stars from Revelation 1:20. Some has proposed that these seven star are the seven sister star from Pleiades and Orion’s belt. Seven is the number of God’s perfection for He is seven Spirits. He created the earth in six days and rested on the seventh, Man was created on the sixth day and that is why man is known as 6 and 666 is the un-holy trinity. Note 6 + 6 = 12, the number of completion. The old man + the new born again man = 12.

In contrast to the seven fixed stars that represent good Angels, the seven “wondering stars” described in the book of Enoch, are the seven planets of our solar system, not including the earth and the sun. Some Bible commentators think that the planets of our solar system were originally stars which represented the fallen angels, the “watchers” who left their first domain and had sexual relations with the daughters of men (Genesis 6:2). After the flood these fallen angels where locked up in “Tartarus” (Jude 6-7, 2 Peter 2:4-5) which caused their their light shining celestial presence to be changed into a dark, a dead planet … wondering stars. Some Bible commentators think the orbit of the earth around the Sun was changed from 360 days to our current cycle of 365.25 days after the flood. Note the planets, except for the earth, have Roman names from Roman gods and these names also are given to the seven days of the week.

As discussed, good and fallen Angels fight in the Spiritual realm to fulfill the purpose of God and to save the souls of men. There is also a personal guardian Angel assigned to each person to look out for their welfare, or perhaps for some people there are several Angels who have retired trying to keep you out of trouble. There are also Angels that guard over Churches, and Cities, and Nations and the leaders of a nation. It’s not exactly clear to us how this battle plays out in Heaven but we are told to join in this battle wrestle against these forces of darkness by prayer and by our witness of words and deeds for Christ (Ephesians 6:12) And though man has the privilege and duty to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ during the Church age, at the close of the Tribulation period an Angel flies through the sky (like the make believe Santa Claus) so that every person on earth hears the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Revelation 14:6 And I saw another angel flying in midheaven, having an eternal gospel to preach to those who live on the earth, and to every nation and tribe and tongue and people;

Here is a provocative thought, Enoch said the wondering stars (the planets that orbit earth) were once fixed stars, good Angels, that shone light upon the earth until they fell from Heaven to earth … they lost their first domain (Heaven). In a similar way because we are born sinners, we are wonders upon the earth … this world is not our home (Hebrews 13:14). Though we are wonders, we are not to be like Cain, who killed his brother Able, because he rejected God’s forgiveness of Grace which is given through the offering of a blood sacrifice. Cain was cursed to wonder the earth without the ability to any longer receive forgiveness and for this reason he was given a “mark” so others would see he was already condemned by God and not take his life in retribution for taking the life of Able (Genesis 4:9-15). This is similar to the “mark of the Beast” that people will take during the Tribulation period that will damn their soul to hell.

For the one who has entered His rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from His. Therefore let us be diligent to enter that rest, so that no one will fall, through following the same example of disobedience. – Hebrews 4:10-11

Praise the Lord, we can enter into God’s rest from our restless wondering, by Grace through faith in Jesus Christ. This is the blessed hope … to enter into God’s rest by believing in the finished work of Christ! Believers are to shine the light of Jesus Christ. A believer is to no longer walk in the darkness of this world. In fact, we are to shine like the stars in Heaven, declaring the glory of God!

Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a basket. Instead, they set it on a lampstand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. – Matthew 5:15

And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. – Daniel 12:3

Revelation 15 1 Then I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous, seven angels who had seven plagues, which are the last, because in them the wrath of God is finished. 2And I saw something like a sea of glass mixed with fire, and those who had been victorious over the beast and his image and the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, holding harps of God.

The stars and planets in the Heavens are aligning on Sept 20-23, 2017 to match the order described in the Revelation 12 sign. Does this date declare the time of the rapture of the church? Though no one knows the day or the hour and could this be the date, many born again Christian think this is likely so including Danial Matson http://watchfortheday.org/signofisrael.html. The Revelation 12 sign is the depiction of the virgin giving birth to Christ the Savior who will rule with a “rod of iron” which is a description of Jesus ruling during the Millennium period. But the Church is also know to rule with Christ with a “rod of iron”, so some think that the child bring born in Rev 12:4 is the Church … the Church is being born and caught up to Heaven to have a resurrected body!

Another person has noted the Dragon of 7 heads and 10 horns mentioned in Rev 12:3 is also fulfilled at the same time as this sign in the Heavens, in that the seven planets (including the moon) are above the ecliptic and in a “crown” state of their rotation relative to the Sun from the perceptive of earth.

The Heavenly sign on Sept 23, 2017 only occurs “once” every 7,000 years. Don’t you see the order and design of God in this event. Surely it marks something significant and what is more significant to God than bringing home His sweet bride? A discussion of the 12 Tribes and the breastplate gem stones:

Two is the number it takes to make a covenant. The sacrificed animals were cut in two or put in twos and God walked thru them to make a covenant with Abraham. The two sexes, male and female and the covenant of marriage. The two olive trees are the two witnesses, Moses and Elijah who proclaim the truth concerning the coming of the Lord. Two also represents the “old” sin nature (Adam) and the “new” born-again nature (Christ), like the Old and New Testament, law and grace, Mt Sinai and Mt Calvary (Mt Zion). The first unfaithful bride (Israel) and the second faithful virgin bride (the Church). There are all kinds of “first sinful” type and “second redeemed” type in the Bible, like the first Adam that sinned and blamed his bride and the second Adam, Christ, that lived a perfect life and died for His bride.

Three in scripture is a reference to God in that He is a trinity, three persons (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) in One and man is a trinity, the essences of three things (body, soul and Spirit) that makes one. The number 33 is believed to be the age of Christ when He gave His life on Calvary. There are 33 bones in the spinal column and there is the perversion of the Mason’s 33 degrees to become perfect in Lucifer.

Four in scripture is a witness of God’s character and His work of redemption, like the four faces of the Cherubim and the four gospel accounts. Note 12/4 = 3. And three is God’s number of perfection, such as the Trinity. The Tribes camped around the Tabernacle in groups of four or “a standard”. Each standard represents a living being; Judah’s is a lion, Reuben’s is a man, Ephraim’s is an ox and Dan’s is an eagle. Also remember when the tribes camped they formed a “cross” in configuration when viewed from above “God’s view”. There is a chart below that shows this configuration.

Six is the number of man since he is created on the sixth day and is less than God.

Seven is the number of God, perfection and divinity since God rested on the seven the day after making what was good.

Twelve is the number of completeness or sufficiency in the Bible. In some cases there are two groups of twelve, to indicate a double completeness or double blessing. Such as the 12 Tribes of the Old Testament and the 12 Disciple of the New Testament. The 24 elders are now before the throne of God in Heaven where they worship and behold the glory of God. The 12 Tribes represent the “first” Jewish unfaithful bride of Christ which is like the sin nature of man, the 12 Disciples represent the “second” or “born again” Faithful bride of Christ. And the 24 hours in the day, the first 12 hours are darkness which represent sin or the absence of light and the second 12 hours are day light which represent the “new” man who walks with the presence of God’s light. Then there are the 12 months of the year and the 12 Constellations and the 12 Gates to New Jerusalem and the 12 trees of life. You can see God’s signature of order and completeness in the number 12, especially in the music scale.

12 Tribes + 12 Disciples = 24 – Human witnesses on the earth and now in Heaven before the throne of God

12 Day hours + 12 night hours = 24 – Hourly witness of time in each day

12 stones in the breast plate of the priest – one unique stone of color for each Jewish Tribe

12 jeweled gates of the New Jerusalem – each with the name of one of the twelve Jewish Tribes (Revelation 21:12)

12 foundation stones of the New Jerusalem – each with the name of one of twelve apostles (Revelation 21:14)

12 spies sent into the land of Canaan (Due 1:23).

12 trees of life bearing 12 kinds of fruit each month (Revelation 22:2)

12 notes in music – 7 white keys and 5 black keys – talk about equality and integration this is how you do it and make a joyful sound too!

12 months and the 12 signs of the Zodiac (in the order of the Jewish new year) – Heavenly witness of the solar year

Also, each Jewish tribe has a name which represents a blessing from God and a birth month which corresponds to a constellation and a birth stone that is represented on the breastplate “ephod” of the priest. The 12 gem stones on the breastplate of the priest each represented a son of Israel.

As you can see, the different Bible versions translate the gem stones with different names but this is relatively easy to sort out compared to trying to figure out which Jewish tribe is associated with each stone (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Priestly_breastplate) . At first I thought it was a simply a matter of matching up the 12 stones by the order of birth of each of the sons (which is how the chart above is ordered) which means there are four rows of stones three to a row from right to left (the way text is written in Hebrew). 1. Reuben 2. Simeon 3. Levi 4. Judah 5. Dan 6. Naphtali 7. Gad 8. Asher 9. Issachar 10. Zebulun 11. Joseph 12. Benjamin. However, other Bible commentators think the order of the stones was by Maternal mother order of birth and some think the order was by the Tribes camped in the wilderness. Some think the order of the Tribes and stones on the breastplate are in the “gate” order of the New Jerusalem. Unfortunately, after much research I have not been able to come to a conclusion about the order of the Tribes on the Breastplate and even the Temple Institute that is trying to recreate this item for use in the New Temple during the Tribulation period hasn’t figured out the order. Perhaps the lesson God is trying to teach us here is that only He knows the Tribe that is associates with each stone and He knows the meaning and significance of each stone. I am reminded that God gives each believer a stone with a new name that only He and the believer share. It is an intimate connection, like a wedding ring that the each Bride member of the body of Christ has with Christ the Groom. It is a visual display of God’s love for that specific believer that everyone sees but it is an intimate understanding that only He and believer share.

“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, to him I will give some of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and a new name written on the stone which no one knows but he who receives it.” – Revelation 2:17

If by camping order

The tabernacle of meeting was in the center. Isn’t it amazing the way the Tribes camped in the wilderness and based on the number of people in each tribe, from high above, it would have looked like a cross! And perhaps this is the order of the Tribes on the priest breastplate since in God’s eyes it would be like wearing a a cross on your chest indicating the Jews are saved by the blood of the cross … as is each person who has been saved or is saved or ever will be saved. My difference with the chart below is that Rueben to the South represent “the Ox” and Ephraim to the West represents “man”.
The camp of Judah, consisting of the tribes of Judah (74,800), Issachar (84,400), and Zebulun (57,400), a total of 186,400 men, camped to the east (Num. Num. 2:3-7).
The camp of Reuben, consisting of the tribes of Reuben (46,500), Simeon (59,300), and Gad (45,650), a total of 151,450 men, camped to the south (Num. Num. 2:10-16).
The camp of Ephraim, consisting of the tribes of Ephraim (40,500), Manasseh (32,200), and Benjamin (35,400), a total of 108,100 men, camped to the west (Num. Num. 2:18-24).
The camp of Dan, consisting of the tribes of Dan (62,700), Asher (41,500), and Naphtali (53,400), a total of 157,600 men, camped to the north (Num. Num. 2:25-31).
Each group was to “camp by his own standard, beside the emblems of his father’s house” [emphasis added](Num. Num. 2:2).

If by Gate and Foundation stone order of the New Jerusalem

The solution comes by comparing the vision of John (Revelation 21:19-20) with Ezekiel’s vision of the city of Zion (Ezekiel 48:30-34) http://www.eifiles.cn/js-en.htm. But Ezekiel is describing a temple on earth that will exist during the Millennium period while John is taking about a New Jerusalem that will exist “above” the “new” redeemed planet earth “after” the Millennium period. I find it interesting that the gate order is not at all similar to the camping order and the Foundation stones are different from the priest breastplate gem stones, and yet another mystery that God has yet to reveal.

This is mainly based on the shoulder order of the two “Sardonyx” stones. “You shall take two onyx stones and engrave on them the names of the sons of Israel, six of their names on the one stone and the names of the remaining six on the other stone, according to their birth. ” Exodus 28:9-10 John Pratt thinks the order is by Maternal birth order, with Leah’s children being on rows 1 and 3, as her 6 children would have been written on one of the shoulder stones and the rest of the 6 tribes written on the other shoulder stone.

Exodus 28: 14: Issachar is a strong ass couching down between two burdens: 15: And he saw that rest was good, and the land that it was pleasant; and bowed his shoulder to bear, and became a servant unto tribute. 19: Gad, a troop shall overcome him: but he shall overcome at the last. 20: Out of Asher his bread shall be fat, and he shall yield royal dainties.

The jewel for Issachar is missing because Satan is not a burden bearer, Jesus is. The jewel for Gad is missing because Satan future punishment is assured. Jesus is the victor that was crucified. The jewel for Asher is missing because Satan will never produce royal seed. Jesus is King forever. Since the jewels are embedded into Lucifer at his creation, this would mean that limitations were place into Lucifer before he fell. God by his determinate foreknowledge placed limits on the enemy even before he fell. Those are the three stones missing from the breastplate of Satan. Note, the stones are ordered by birth order.

On the breastplate of Satan there are nine other stones, but he corrupted the righteous characteristics of those stones so they would be just the opposite of the righteous qualities they represent. The opposites are listed second. This info came from this link also see this link.

Satan/Heylel can twist these righteous characteristics and attributes of Yisra’el and turn them into the opposite in his breastplate. Here are the three missing stones.

10. Jacinth – Yahweh’s Name and authority – the tribe of Gad. Satan has lost her right to the Name of Yahweh and His/her authority.
11. Agate – the tribe of Asher – to restore life, to return to Yahweh to do teshuvah. Satan and the malekim that fell with her have lost their ability to repent, to do teshuvah.
12. Amethyst – to join closely, or to have unity – the tribe of Yissachar. Satan/Heylel is no longer joined to Yahweh, has no covenant with Yahweh, and has no rights to the covenants and blessings that belong to Yisra’el.

No, I am not referring to a Hollywood celebrates sharing their conversion testimonies … which by the way would probably be a short TV show with low ratings. And I am not talking about Angels, who are often called stars, sharing the gospel (although there is an Angel that flies through the air preaching the gospel during the close of the Tribulation) but I am referring to star constellations that convey the gospel story in the sky. Now, this is a difficult thing for me to understand because I live in a place where it not easy to see the lights in the night sky because of all the street lights and house lights. It’s a good thing I don’t have to rely on God reaching me this way because I can only make out the moon and the Big Dipper, which makes me hungry for food from a pot, not hungry for Spiritual food from God.

As we discussed earlier, the signs in the Heavens have been taken hostage by Satan under the guise of Astrology. The word Zodiac is a Greek word that means “the path to life”. The purpose of the stars is for God to show the “path of life” which is through His only begotten Son Jesus Christ (John 3:16). But in opposition to God’s purpose, the purpose of Astrology is to get a person to focus on their own personal future as if the stars are “gods” that bring them fame and fortune. Those who consult psychics or simply read a daily horoscope are being deceived and programmed to “look to the stars” for their future instead of trusting in God. This is a serious sin that God prohibits and when King Saul committed this sin (1 Samuel 28), God disciplined Saul with an early death!

Amos 5:8 He who made the Pleiades and Orion And changes deep darkness into morning, Who also darkens day into night, Who calls for the waters of the sea And pours them out on the surface of the earth, The LORD is His name.

Job understood the constellations and records the name of a couple of them for us. I think Job may have been one of the wisest persons to have ever lived even though Solomon asked for the blessing of wisdom from God to rule God’s people, he lived a life of vanity contrary to the wisdom he expounded. The Jewish word “Mazzaroth” comes from Job 38:32 which is translated “constellations” but Satan has corrupted this knowledge into something more like “Mazal tov” which mean “good luck and good fortune”. From the book of Enoch it is stated that the Lord explained the constellations to Adam and to Enoch and Enoch passed this knowledge on to Noah his sons. However, at some point after the flood, the knowledge of the gospel in the stars was corrupted (probably by Nimrod), along with the story of the virgin birth of the Savior (Genesis 3:15). Abraham was called a “friend of God” (James 2:23) and it’s likely that God gave Abraham the knowledge of the understanding the stars and the gospel message.

The best resource I have found for explaining the Mazzaroth comes from the book “The Witness of the Stars” by E. W. Bullinger 1893 which is available here: http://www.rapturecode.com/witness-of-the-stars. This believer who lived at the turn of the century, like Clarence Larkin, had a Spiritual insight that was very clear and deep. Today I think we are blessed with new clearer insights into Bible prophecy but these clearer insight are also buried among many thousands of contradicting bad insights so it is hard to separate the wheat from the chaff.

If you look at the 12 constellations in the sky, you can’t readily make out the character of Virgo the virgin or Sagittarius the archer. Like I said the Big Dipper looks like a big ladle to dip into a nice stew at dinner time but when these stars that make up the Big Dipper are viewed as part of the gospel story in the heavens, they take on a Heavenly meaning. The knowledge of the constellations is not something that was made up by man but it is knowledge that was revealed to man by God for God’s glory. Unfortunately, there is not much in the scriptures that supports the idea that the stars tell a gospel story and it’s not necessary that you believe that God named these signs and told the gospel story by them because God has given us His Son, His word, His Holy Spirit that convicts us of sin and He has given us the wonder of His creation that bear witness to God, so man is without excuse for not acknowledging the authority of God to rule over him (Romans 1:21).

They are preserved to the present day in our almanacs, and we are taught their order in the familiar rhymes:–

Perhaps, like the gem stones, it is not God’s will that we should focus on this association or try to put to much meaning into the 12 Tribes and the 12 Constellation signs. I have assigned it the “Camping Order” in the Chart below and think it’s the most logical since it also ties together the four faces of the Cherubim, which in essence ties together the four gospel accounts. But for the Mazzaroth, which is the telling of the story of redemption in the sky, the 12 months are broken down into groups of three, not in groups of four. Like the three disciples that acted as captains over the other disciples; Peter and James and John. The gospel story in the sky is therefore told in “three” sequences of four consecutive months or signs. Christ First Coming, His Suffering and His Second coming.

Note, I think perhaps the way months are given attributes of “earth, wind, fire and water” is perhaps just another corruption of the Mazzaroth that was dreamed up to aid physics in deceiving man. Yes, there are differences in man and their personalities and some of these differences may be a result of what time of the year a person is born which is a teaching of Astrology. Look, there are many mysteries of God we don’t understand but our personality is a gift from God so we are diverse and we can express God’s fullness of character and we don’t get bored with one another. God gives us different perspectives and ways to serve Christ and unite the body of Christ. It’s a wonderful thing to celebrate these differences as they are meant to compliment the work of God, not compete against one another. Just like the body of Christ is like the human body with many parts working together for unified purpose to glorify God and enjoy Him forever.

First Four Signs: prefigures the person, work and triumph of the Redeemer who came to us in flesh on earth.

1. VIRGO: (the Virgin)

Virgo is pictured as a woman with a branch in her right hand and some ears of corn in her left hand. Virgo in Hebrew is “Bethulah” which means, “a virgin”. In Greek, Virgo is “Parthenos”, which means “the maid of virgin pureness”. Jesus, also called Immanuel, was born to a virgin. There is no other place in the history of mankind where this “supernatural” birth has happened.

2. LIBRA: (the Scales)

Libra is pictured as the depiction of a set of scales. In Hebrew, Libra is called, “Monzanaim”, meaning, “the Scales, weighing”. Its present name in Latin means, “weighing”. In Greek mythology, Libra represented the balances of Astraea, the Goddess of Justice, which weighs the lives of mortal men. None of us is perfect, and we have no way of “tipping the scales” in our favor. Someone who is perfect must “tip the scales” for us.
The only way is to pay with their life (the largest price anyone could pay) for our imperfection. So who is that someone else who would do such a thing?

3. SCORPIO (the Scorpion)

Scorpio is the figure of a huge scorpion, with its tail lifted in anger. It appears to be trying to strike the man (Ophiuchus) who is struggling with a serpent. In Hebrew, Scorpio is called, “Akrab”, which means both “the scorpion” and “wounding, or conflict”. In mythology, Scorpius was the scorpion whose sting killed Orion,
“the Hunter”. In the sky Orion still flees from the scorpion, for Orion sets below the horizon as Scorpius rises.

Satan “the deceiver” is the scorpion who stung us by tempting Adam to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

All of mankind from Adam to now, to the future, must die because of Satan’s success in deceiving Adam in The Garden. This is also the struggle of good vs. evil and mankind vs. Satan

4. SAGITTARIUS (the Archer)

A constellation depicting a centaur (half man, half beast) with a raised bow and arrow. Sagittarius is shooting at the heart of Scorpius the Scorpion, which bit Orion the Hunter, causing his death.

Jesus Christ died on the cross with the world (and Satan) owing Him His life. His death by crucification is the “arrow” that pierces Satan’s heart and releases Satan’s grip on us.

Second four signs: depicts the Redeemer’s future work and mediatorship. This foretells the formation and work of Christians.

5. CAPRICORN (the Horned Goat)

The picture of Capricorn is shown as a fallen or dying goat with the tail of a fish. Hence, Capricorn is half-goat, half-fish. One leg of the goat is under the body and the other leg is powerless to lift the body up. The tail of the fish seems to be healthy and full of life. Capricornus is also called the Sea-goat or the Horned-goat. Capricornus in Latin means, “goat” and “atonement”.

The definition of the word scapegoat is: a goat upon whose head is symbolically placed the sins of the people after which the goat is sent into the wilderness in the ceremony for Yom Kippur. Ever been a scapegoat?
Ever been hit with the blame for something you didn’t do? That’s what Jesus was. He took the blame or judgement for us all and died for it.

6. AQUARIUS (the water-bearer)

Aquarius is depicted as the figure of a man, holding a urn in his left hand, and a inexhaustible stream of water is pouring out of the urn. The Babylonians also saw in Aquarius the figure of a man, pouring water from a jar.
Aquarius in Latin means, “the pourer forth of water”.

Water is essential for life.

When we are thirsty, a water-bearer is a thankful sight. Jesus is the bearer of the “living water”, a spiritual well
for our soul, and He is there to provide it whenever WE ASK HIM FOR IT.

7. PISCES (the fishes)

Pisces is a constellation representing two fishes sometimes tied by their tails. One fish is headed toward the North Polar Star, and the other is parallel with the path of the Sun. The Hebrew name for Pisces is, “Dagim” which means, “the fishes”.

Jesus Christ is a “fisher of men” if we allow Him to fish us out of the vast, dark, ocean through faith”ing” in Him.

Just as He fed five thousand people with two fishes and five loaves of bread, He feeds us providing what we need if we spend time with Him.

8. ARIES (the Ram)

The figure depicted in Aries is that of a vigorous ram or lamb. In Hebrew, Aries is called, “Taleh” and means, “the Lamb”. Aries identifies the “Lamb of God”. In the Old Testament if the Law was broken, a worthy “lamb” sacrifice had to be presented to God.

If we break a law and are convicted, we pay the consequences of our actions. The same rule applies when we sin. But this is not how it is with God, who provides for us a substitute to take the rap. In the Old Testament, The Lord provided a ram for Abraham to offer as a sacrifice. Later God provided His son, Jesus the Christ, who
paid with His own life so that – if we accept Him and “the terms” we don’t have to pay for our own sin.

Last Four Signs: stand for the final consummation of all things. This section foretells of the coming judgments on the earth and the glorious outcome of Christ’s reign.

9. Taurus (the Bull)

Taurus is figured as a charging bull which can’t be stopped or avoided. The Pleiades in the shoulder of Taurus are the Seven Sisters, who are the Seven Churches in Revelation. The Taurus reminds us of the unavoidable day of judgement that is approaching. Jesus tells us that we will have to give account on the day of judgement for every careless word we have spoken.

However, there is good news.

In the Bible the bull is seen as a symbol of payment for sin, a payment that Jesus made.
If we accept the conditions of payment, our careless words are forgiven. Matthew 12: 36-37

10. GEMINI (the Twins)

Gemini pictures two youthful-looking figures, one male and one female, walking or sitting together. The male figure has a club in his right hand and the female figure has a bow and arrow in the left hand and a harp in her right hand.

The definitions of the word “twin” means: one of two sibilings born at the same time and match another or each other exactly, or means, an exact match.

The Hebrew name for this sign is: “Thaumin” which means: united.

When Israel is restored at the “closing time” of this world, the promised blessings will come upon The Bride. The union between Christ and His Bride is the Marriage of the Lamb which is restored Israel (the TRUE BELIEVERS OF CHIRST WHICH IS HIS CHURCH), and Jesus Christ the Messiah “marrying” or “uniting” His followers.

The union is an “exact match” of Christ and His true believers who form His Church.

11. Cancer (the crab)

Cancer portrays a crab. A crab holds on without letting go, “sidesteps” under threat and gets out of harms way. The Arabic name for this sign is “Al Sartan”, which means “who holds” or “binds”. The Latin name “Cancer” means, “holding” or “encircling”. As Christ’s true believers, He grabs hold of us and will never let go just like a crab. As His followers, in the closing of this world, He will embrace or “encircle” us and gets us out of harms
way by “sidestepping” past the threats and the hellish situations. This sign signifies the gathering of Christ’s sheep… the redeemed.

12. Leo (the Lion)

Leo pictures a charging lion whose mighty paws happen to be in the action of running over the head of Hydra, the serpent. The Hebrew name of this sign is “Arieh”, which means “the Lion”. The Arabic name is “Al Asad”, meaning “a lion coming vehemently”.

The King if Kings has returned to bind and cast Satan out of this world once and forever and reclaim His kingdom on earth. Just as the lion is king among animals, so is Jesus, the Mighty King of all…the Lion of the tribe of Judah.

The mystery of the Zodiac (solved):

Have you ever wondered where the twelve signs of the zodiac came from? The word “Zodiac” comes from the Greek word Zoe, which means “life,” and Dia, which means “through” or “pathway.”

“Zodiac” literally means: “the path to life”.

It is the Gospel written in symbolic, pictorial language manifesting the path to eternal life.

God taught ENOCH these constellation pictures and their meaning in order to provide a visual revelation of the plan of God to redeem mankind through the death of Jesus Christ on the cross.

The zodiac and the constellations can be thought of as the original Bible before the Bible was placed into written form!!!

The zodiac clearly foretells the coming, the life, death, resurrection, and return, of the King of Kings, Jesus the Christ, our Messiah.

What else could the zodiac be?

Well, people have for thousands of years found a real and mysterious power of foretelling futures and fortunes through Astrology and horoscopes. No one questions how and why the Zodiac becomes a “way” for some to find the power to read the future.

This is NOT the intention of the Zodiac. The power comes from somewhere and it is not through Jesus Christ!
Do these people even question where their knowledge and power comes from?

Satan is a liar and a deceiver…he could be a source. Or could it come from one or two fallen angels?

Deuteronomy 4: 19

Deuteronomy 18: 9-14

9 “When you come into the land which the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not learn to follow the abominations of those nations. 10 “There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son
or daughter pass through fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer. 11 “or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. 12 “For all who do these things are an abomination to the LORD,and because of theses abominations the LORD your God drives them out from before you. 13 “You shall be blameless before the LORD your God. 14 “for these nations which you will dispossess listened to soothsayers and diviners; but as for you, the LORD your God has not appointed such for you.

The fact for us is that while we are on this earth in our lifetime, the story of our Savior is always above us written in the stars. This “story” can never be erased or destroyed.

Genesis 1: 14

Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the say from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years.

And I will put enmity
Between you and the woman,
And between your seed and her seed;
He shall bruise you on the head,
And you shall bruise him on the heel.” Genesis 3:15

The story of how God would fulfill His promise from Genesis 3:15 is told in the constellation of the stars. A virgin girl would give birth to a Son, who would suffer and die on a cross but who would also through His death, rise from the grave and defeat Satan and death!

The Cosmic Clock:

Cornwell has put together a chart of God’s timeline, a cosmic clock based on the fact that it takes the Earth 26,000 years to circumnavigate the Zodiac! I have just started trying to understand this chart of the Alpha and Omega put together by Jim Cornwell, but the bottom line is that the cosmic constellation this year in September signals something big! We are living in the “Age of Aquarius”, the last age of the cosmic cycle. As we know, the earth rotates on it’s axis once every 24 hours and it orbits the sun once every year, but due to the tilt and wobble of the earth, the time it takes the earth to go through a complete tilt and wobble cycle is once in every 26.000 years. Now, viewed from the north pole the earth is rotating counter clockwise and the earth is orbiting the sun counter clockwise but at the same time the earth’s solar system which is part of the Milky Way is orbiting clocking wise and it take 225 to 250 million years for the earth’s solar system to make an orbit within the Milky Way. In a sense, the earth is a wheel within a wheel. And isn’t it interesting that this how Ezekiel describes the way the Cherubim transport God, on a chariot of fire, which appears as a wheel within a wheel.

More specifically to the Great Sphinx, however, Alan Gardiner suggested that the Egyptian phrase, shesep ankh Atum, meaning “Living Image of Atum”, which was associated with sphinxes in later times, signified the pharaoh in the form of the primeval sun and creator god.

Genesis 49:10 The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.

“The sceptre shall not depart from Judah“- “sceptre” is shebet in the Hebrew, the same word used in Numbers 24:17; referring to the “star out of Jacob and sceptre out of Israel.” This star out of Jacob is a clear reference to the planet Jupiter-the King planet which is covered in detail in the Astronomy of the Birth of Christ section of this web-site.

Weirwille states; “The Arabic word “regel” means “foot” and is identical in meaning to the Aramaic word “regla” and the Hebrew word “regel” tying in with “from between his feet” above. In this one verse the Lion of Judah, Leo, intertwined with the lawgiver coming from between his feet, symbolizing the king star Regulus [see Psalm 60:9]. This gives a clear Biblical picture of the stellar elements of the Jupiter-Regulus triple union in Leo the lion of the tribe of Judah revealed in the 3 aspects of Genesis 49:9!

Thus, the Great Sphinx and the Great Pyramid stand, as oracles, monumental prophets of both the Alpha and Omega, the first and second advents of Jesus Christ, revealing both his sufferings and glory. These stellar aspects of the Sphinx, are reinforced by the picture of the eastern horizon during the early morning hours of September 14th, at the time of the first Jupiter-Regulus union. This distinct star picture of the Head of the woman Virgo rising above the horizon, with the body of the lion above, beginning the first of 3 Jupiter-Regulus unions, is definitive evidence for our thesis. It is a key to realize that the signs of the Lord’s birth occurred in Virgo, the alpha sign of the Biblical zodiac, while the signs of his return will occur in the omega sign-Leo, both including signs of the Celestial Sphinx. This is a clear example of the importance of the Sphinx as a monumental marker of the advent of God’s only begotten Son.

Those traditions do have roots back that far, and I suggest that the names of the stars and the constellations originally had meaning to Adam, Seth, and Enoch—that they were created to serve as a mnemonic, a memory tool, to tell a very important story. The story they tell has significance to all of us, so much so that it was corrupted in a temple at Babel and became the distorted soothsayer’s tool we see today in astrology.

Today the idea of looking to the stars, if you are not dealing with the science of astronomy, is called astrology. The word itself means “the word about the stars.” But this is a perversion that interprets that the start forecast some fortune or events toward our personal gain or loss, instead of reading the starts with the intent of forecast preordained Godly events. The original intent of star names and constellation names was what bound astronomy and astrology together in the past. For example, if the ‘star’ the wise men were watching for at the time of Jesus’ birth was the big shining thing we see on Christmas cards, everyone would have seen it. But they didn’t. The Magoi were watching for something the trained eyes of astronomers would see. The fact that it was something unique is recorded by other astronomers in the Roman Empire who claimed the heavens were applauding Augustus Caesar.

The word ‘zodiac’ is not a bad word in itself! It comes from ‘zoad,’ meaning ‘path’ or ‘way. It refers to the way the sun appears to pass through the various constellations during the year. The diagram below shows the way the zodiac looks today, and it can be seen that it is a bit ‘off’ from what we associate as signs for the various months.

“By His breath the heavens are cleared; His hand has pierced the fleeing serpent. – Job 26:13 The ‘fleeing serpent’ mentioned there is Hydra, a constellation which takes seven hours to pass overhead because of its length (it is the longest constellation in the sky).

So the story ends with the victorious Lion of Judah, the Mighty God-Man, the Coming Judge who will Tread Under Foot the enemy. Leo is “treading under foot” the Fleeing Serpent, Hydra, that Old Serpent, whose brightest star is Alphard “the Accursed One”. When that happens, Corvus the crow and the other raptors are called to the battle of the great Day of God at Armageddon where they feed on the flesh of the armies. This is the day when the Cup of God’s Wrath is outpoured, which is the significance of the constellation Crater the Cup.
