The Heart of God Manifested in His Bride(s) thru the Ages … Their Resurrections and Reward

In this article I am going to examine God’s purpose through the Ages (During a Dispensational Age) and what is God’s Heart, Nature and Eternal purpose that is Manifested in His Children for each of these Ages.  This article is largely speculation since I do not have any special revelation from God that this information is true but I am led by my analysis of Scripture and my experience with the Holy Spirit to write what is on my heart.

I have found My servant David; with My sacred oil I have anointed him. – Psalm 89:20

And when He had removed him (Saul), He raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, ‘I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.’ – Acts 13:22  

David was a man after God’s own heart but David committed adultery, murder and he slayed hundreds of those who disputed God’s claim to His promised land.  In fact David was not permitted to build a Temple for God because the blood on his hands.  David had failures because he is like us, having a fallen SINFUL nature but he never failed to CONFESS his SIN … REPENT of his SIN … so he could be restored to communion with God and enjoy fellowship with God.

Ezekiel 27: 24“David My servant shall be king over them, and they shall all have one shepherd; they shall also walk in My judgments and observe My statutes, and do them. 25Then they shall dwell in the land that I have given to Jacob My servant, where your fathers dwelt; and they shall dwell there, they, their children, and their children’s children, forever; and My servant David shall be their prince forever. 26Moreover I will [c]make a covenant of peace with them, and it shall be an everlasting covenant with them; I will establish them and multiply them, and I will set My sanctuary in their midst forevermore. 27My tabernacle also shall be with them; indeed I will be their God, and they shall be My people. 28The nations also will know that I, the Lord, sanctify Israel, when My sanctuary is in their midst forevermore.” 

David is the most highly revered king of Israel and King David will be RESURRECTED and sit upon the Throne in Jerusalem during the Millennium period and rule over Israel … while King Jesus will REIGN and RULE over ALL the nations … including Israel.

Isaiah 9: 6For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
7Of the increase of His government and peace
There will be no end,
Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom,
To order it and establish it with judgment and justice
From that time forward, even forever.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

What is God saying about David’s love for God and God’s love for David that made him a man after God’s own heart?   This is the kind of Godly CHARACTER that we need to look for in a leader … one who LOVES the Lord and displays humility to ask FORGIVNESS from God and is ZEALOUS to see God gloried according to God’s will.  For example even though David knew he would ascend to the throne after Saul, he did not take matters into his own hands to BELITTLE the name of Saul or take the kingdom from Saul because Saul was God anointed person for that time.

And how about Moses who was reluctant to be a leader for God but none the less faithful to RESCUE God’s people from Egypt and led them to the Promise Land … yet he himself was excluded from entering because of an act of unfaithfulness when he STUCK the Rock instead of speaking to it.   And Abraham left his home in Shinar (The location of Nimrod’s Fallen Tower of Babel) to seek the Creator God … And he obeyed God and was faithful, even willing to sacrifice his only begotten son, Isaac, yet he used his own SINFUL reasoning to avoid the rulers of this world by offering his wife to them and he tried to bring the God’s child of promise into the world through his wife handmaid. 

These Old Testament Saints have their testimony and they have a reward in the Eternal City of God, The New Jerusalem, which is like the Bride of Christ but the scripture also says “The Church” is the Bride of Christ.  And this is the main point of this article to compare the current “Church Age” Saints (their heart toward God and their inheritance in God) with the other Saints of God from Ages past to Ages in the future (their heart and their inheritance).   

This is difficult subject to approach because many people think that God has favorites … and one Age of Believers is BETTER than the other.  And this was concern a young mother expressed about having another baby … how could she continue to love two children equally, with the same amount that she loved the first one?  And God told her that He would enlarge her heart to double the size of her love.  And this is what God is able to do …. His heart is limitless to the DEGREE He can love His creation and to the EXTEND of it’s measure.

God loves the writer as much as the warrior … David was both.   But the pen is mightier than the sword … it is the Word of God that justifies the Deeds of men.  And Jesus is the “Word” who RETURNS to Earth as the warrior King to SLAY His enemies and set up His Millennium Kingdom on earth.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. – John 1:1

My main point I want to make is that the purpose God has for the Church Age believers at this time (The Escape of the Rapture) and the love He puts in their heart (To Watch and to Spread the Gospel to the World) is different than that which is in the heart of the coming Great Tribulation Saint believers (To die a Martyr for Testifying for belief in Jesus) . 

Today, in these times of Sorrow leading up to the Great Tribulation, we are seeing sincere Christians who love God … but they sense a different calling on their life.  One group senses they are called to be caught and die as martyrs for Christ in a Great Tribulation and another group senses they are called to be “caught up” and escape death from the Great Tribulation.  What does this mean …. is God confused or is he working differently in the hearts of His children to complete the good work He began in them (Phil 1:6).

I have seen debates between these Christians groups (the Writers and the Warriors), each trying to convince the other they are right in their love and zeal for God … each one leaves doubles down on their position, more convinced they are right and the other Christian is wrong … and the divide increases.  This is why I started wondering if BOTH groups are right?  Does God plan to Rapture those have the heart of Christ’s Bride to ESCAPE the Tribulation and does God plan to honor those have the heart of God’s servants to FIGHT in the Tribulation? 

Remember it was Peter who used a sword and took off the ear of a Roman solider who came to arrest Jesus but Jesus healed the wound and stopped the rebellion.  And after Jesus’ resurrection Peter didn’t lead a war of against Rome but a revival in Jerusalem based on the true word of God.  And John who was called “The one Jesus loved” and he was promised that he would see Jesus before his death and John did see Jesus in a Revelation … in fact John was called up to Heaven as an example of a Pre-Tribulation Rapture of the Church.  Rev 4:1

Peter’s boldness to physically fight as a warrior was changed after he denied knowing Jesus and when he came to realize God’s call upon his life to feed My sheep.  The desire to build God’s Kingdom in Heaven “Find my LOST Sheep and Feed Them” is the Great Commission and Dispensation of the Church Age (The Raptured Bride of Christ).  The desire to Build God’s Kingdom on earth the “Fight Sheep Fight for Dominion” is the Great Deception and Dispensation of the Great Tribulation Age (The Martyred Saints).

Revelation 7:14 So he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them.

Another way to look at the Dispensations of God’s Saints through the Dispensational Ages is to look at them in their Resurrected Bride body … Jew and Gentile.

First Resurrection of the Living who BELIEVE in Christ

Gentile Bride – Jesus Christ – First Fruits

Gentile Bride – Raptured Resurrected Church -The Harvest

Gentile Bride – Great Tribulation Resurrected Church – The Gleaning

First Resurrection of the Living who BELIEVE in Christ

Jewish Bride – 144K – First Fruits

Jewish Bride – OT Resurrected Saints and WRATH Saints – The Harvest

Jewish Bride – Millennium Resurrected Saints – The Gleaning

Second Resurrection of the Dead who REJECT Christ

White Throne of Judgement at End of Millennium Age

The New Jerusalem City is like the TWO Brides of Christ which has 12 Gates for the Old Testament Sons of Jacob and 12 Foundation Stones for the 12 Apostles of Jesus Christ. 

Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. – Revelation 21:2

Also she had a great and high wall with twelve gates, and twelve angels at the gates, and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel – Revelation 21:2

Now the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. – Revelation 21:17

The Bride of Christ is TWO (composed of Jew and Gentile) and ONE (sharing the belief in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior).  The New Jerusalem is the dwelling place for the millions of believers who represent the ONE True Bride of Christ.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. – John 14:3

And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely. – – Revelation 22:17

The RESURRECTION is on the 8th Day!

On the 8th day after Lamb is Chosen is the Feast of First Fruits – Jesus RESURRECTION

On the 8th day of Feast of Tabernacles Priests are cleansed – Church Rapture RESURRECTION

On the 8th day after marry Leah Jacob received Rachel – Church Gleaning RESURRECTION

On the 8th day the Male-Child circumcised – 144K RESURRECTED

On the 8th day the healed Leper is considered clean – OT Saints RESURRECTED

On the 8th day All creation is MADE New – Final Gleaning RESURRECTION

Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. – Revelation 21:1

My interpretation of the events in the Book of Revelation (Chapters 4-20) are:

– A pre-Tribulation RAPTURE of the Born Again Church

– A Great Tribulation where the NWO Antichrist Kingdom is formed (10 days to x years?)

– The WRATH of God judgement under the Antichrist Kingdom (3 1/2 years)

– The WRATH of God judgement under the Beast Kingdom (3 1/2 years)

– The return of Jesus Christ with His Saints to REIGN and RULE (1,000 years)

First Resurrection of the Living who BELIEVE in Christ

Gentile Bride – Jesus Christ – First Fruits

1 Corinthians 15: 20 But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have [d]fallen asleep. 21 For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. 23 But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming.

Jesus rose from the grave on the Feast of “First Fruits” … fulfilling in Person the appointed time celebrated by this Feast.  Jesus Christ is the FIRST body of the Resurrection and those who believe in Him will be RESURRECTED like Him!  … in their time and order at the COMING of Christ.  And Christ coming occurs in TWO appearances for the TWO Brides … The Coming for His Gentile Bride BEFORE the Great Tribulation and then Christ’ COMING to earth for his Jewish Bride (After the Great Tribulation and WRATH of God) to RULE and Reign for 1,000 years. 

Gentile Bride – Raptured Resurrected Church -The Harvest

After these things (The Church Age) I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.” – Revelation 4:1

As I understand scripture the Rapture of the Born Again Disciple of Jesus Christ (Those ALIVE and those Asleep) occurs at in Revelation 4:1.  This is a Pre-Tribulation Rapture … Prior to opening the Seal Judgements on the those LEFT Behind.  The Rapture Saints are seen as “24 Elders” before the Throne of God.  The number is a representation of their priestly order that was established by David, to serve 24 at a time per month in the Temple.

Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white robes; and they had crowns of gold on their heads. – Revelation 4:4

The elders in Heaven (The Church) … say to Christ “You are worthy to take the scroll and open the Seals.”  You Jesus were slain (on the Cross) and have Redeemed “us” (The Church in Heaven) out of every tribe (both Jew and Gentile), tongue (70 tongues from the Tower of Babel), people (ethnic groups) and nation (All the nations have heard the gospel).  

“You are worthy to take the scroll,
And to open its seals;
For You were slain,
And have redeemed us to God by Your blood
Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,
10And have made [d]us kings[e] and priests to our God;
And [f]we shall reign on the earth.”

The Church believers are New Testaments Priest according to the order of Melchizedek and kings because we are sons and daughters of the King of King, so we will reign with Christ on earth.

For He testifies: “You are a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek.” – Hebrews 7:17

Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. – Galatians 4:7

In summary, the 24 elders represent the Church Redeemed out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation … BEFORE the Throne in their Resurrected Body with a white robe and they are there BEFORE the opening of the Seal judgements … which is the Great Tribulation upon the earth.

Gentile Bride – Great Tribulation Resurrected Church – The Gleaning

Many Bible commentators teach that the Rapture of the Church occurs at Seal #6 but how can there be a multitude out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation before the throne singing a redemption song at Rev 5:9 unless there was a Rapture of the Church PRIOR to the opening of the Seals in Rev 6:1?   

The Raptured virgins are the WISE believers who had their lamps filled with the Holy Spirit … because they were walking NOT by Flesh but by Faith in Christ according to the Spirit of God, in gratitude of their Salvation and in belief of God’s promises (Gal 2:20).

Matthew 25:10And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.

11“Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ 12But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’

13“Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour [b]in which the Son of Man is coming.

The door was shut on the FOOLISH virgins … and Jesus said “I do not know you” … which in Greek word “eido” which means “I do not perceive you to be my Ambassador or appreciate your witness for Me”.

Strongs Greek 1492 “eido”

Definition: be aware, behold, consider, perceive
Usage: I know, remember, appreciate.

This is a hard teaching to understand … who do the WISE virgins represent and who do the FOOLISH virgins represent?  Note, the elders before the Throne have a Crown.  Do the 5 WISE virgin represent the 5 crowns that a believer can receive?

Can someone take your crown?

Revelation 3:10 Because you have kept [g]My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. 11[h]Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. 

This parable of the 10 virgins is hard to understand and it is not wise to establish Bible doctrine based on a parable.   I am not sure if the parable a reference to the Rapture of the Gentile Bride or the Wedding of the Jewish Bride at the Return of Jesus.  From a Church Age perspective the 5 WISE virgins are RAPTURED and the 5 FOOLISH virgins are NOT Born Again Christians but “tares” in the Church … Christian in Name Only (CINO) … without a Personal BORN Again relationship with Jesus Christ.  They are LEFT Behind and may come to a Saving Faith in Jesus during the Great Tribulation period.

From a Post Tribulation perspective the 5 WISE virgins are the like the Sheep nation people on Christ’s Right Hand who enter into the Millennium period and the 5 FOOLISH virgins are like the Goat Nation people on the Left Hand who are cast into the Lake of Fire! 

Matthew 25: 41“Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: 42for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; 43I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’

The point I am making is that the Church Age Saints are RAPTURED at the Rev 4:1, prior to the Seal judgements.  The Multitude of RESURRECTED Saints before the Thone AFTER the 6th Seal have all been martyred for their faith in Jesus, like the ones under the altar at the 5th Seal.  

Some Bible Commentators call Seal # 6 the pre-Wrath Rapture event, since many think the Church is in the Great Tribulation now, experiencing the Seal judgements and the Antichrist is riding the white horse conquering the world. The problem with this theory is that John is told in at Seal #5 that those under the altar have been martyred for their testimony and they are given a WHITE ROBE and told to wait a little longer until the REST are martyred like them.

When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. – Revelation 6:9

Then when we see the REST of those in their White ROBES (The Multitude) before the throne we understand they have been Martyred during the Great Tribulation Period … Therefore they are NOT Saints from the approximately 2,000 years of the Church age but ONLY those who came out of the Great Tribulation Period … as Martyrs.

So he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb – Revelation 7:14

And since there are NO Saints who were taken ALIVE to Heaven mentioned in the group who are before the Throne in Revelation 7:14 … but there are only RESURRECTED Saints from the Grave like those from Revelation 6:9 … this is NOT the Rapture of the Church spoken of in 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

  1. Very good analysis. Time will tell exactly how all this plays out. Most importantly to anyone. Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior as time is running out. Blessings and Maranatha.
