”Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” – John 3:3

Are you a “born again” citizen of God’s Heavenly Kingdom?  If so are you looking forward to living in your Heavenly Kingdom with Jesus?  Are you building God’s Kingdom in Heaven or are you building your own Kingdom on this earth?  This is the all important question that Jesus is going to ask you at the “judgement seat of Christ” … what good works did you do in My name?

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. – 2 Corinthians 5:10

The judgement seat of Christ is a place a believer will appear after the rapture/resurrection.  It’s not the place to determine whether or not you are saved, for you can not loose your salvation since you didn’t do any works to earn it.  God alone holds your salvation and He will complete the good work He began in you (Philippians 1:6) … but will you have any rewards beyond your inheritance into Heaven that is guarantee by salvation?

Ephesians 2: 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God9 not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.

You see in the above scripture we are not saved “by” good works but “for” good works that God has prepared for us.   I am grieved by how many Christians are ignorant, mislead and missing the mark in their pursuit of living the Christian life.  Most are busy doing good works in fear in order to prove to God that they are worthy to earn salvation or keep their salvation but this is not how God intended for His born again children to approach Him.  We have no condemnation in Christ (Romans 8:1) and we cannot be separated from Christ (Romans 8:37-39)!  You can’t loose your salvation because you didn’t earn it to begin with … you received it as a “gift of God” that cannot be returned or exchanged … if indeed you are have believed in Jesus Christ and received the gift of eternal life which is the sealing and indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, “Abba! Father!” – Romans 8:15

We now cry “Abba Father” and come to God openly with our requests, like a dependent child and we “trust and obey” God because of our love for what Christ has done for us, forgiving our sins and giving us eternal life!  Our service to God is to identify with Christ and shine the light of Christ that is in us to the world that all might know Him and have eternal life, as we have eternal life!

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.”  – John 10:10

Jesus came to give us eternal life and an abundant life but the thief of this world, Satan comes to steal, kill and destroy life.  Anyone who has not received a “born again” life in Jesus Christ is on the path to destruction because without Christ they will die and face eternal death in the Lake of Fire with Satan and the Fallen Angels.  The abundant life that Jesus spoke of is not only an eternal resurrected life of glory in the presence of Jesus in the New Jerusalem in the Heavenly Kingdom but it is an abundant life of fellowship with Christ now as we daily depend on Him and draw close to Him.

Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. – Matthew 16:24

Most Christian think an abundant life consists of abundant things or abundant accomplishments or an abundant number of people who follow them but the abundant life consists of an abundantly close relationship with Jesus Christ.  We are to draw close to Christ and identify with Him by taking up our cross of responsibility in this world and live a holy life by the Holy Spirit power that is within us!

We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ, – 2 Corinthians 10:5

Many Christians are being mislead by a teaching of “Dominion Theology” … that we are to take dominion over the earth now and reign and rule over the earth now … then Jesus will come.  But this is a teaching to “tickle the ears” of people who want to flaunt their self righteousness over others, like the Scribes and Pharisees did in Jesus’ day.  The scripture tell us there will be a great falling away from sound teaching and the world will wax worse and worse (2 Timothy 3:13) … then Jesus will come.   The dominion we are suppose to rule over is our sin nature.   We are to “rule over” our body,  the temple of the Holy Spirit!

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. – Philippians 4:6

Yes, we are to pray for everything but the problem is that most people pray to build a kingdom of good circumstances on earth for their own dominion on earth now instead of praying to build a kingdom of Godly people on earth for God’s glory.   Our focus should be on building up holy Kingdom citizens, starting with our self (taking up our cross and following Jesus) … this is the abundant life of Christ and the way to earn rewards in Heaven.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. – 1 John 1:9

Charles Stanley explains that you cannot loose your salvation but you can loose rewards.  And if you have un-confessed sin in your life after being born again you can have fear and guilt because you are not in fellowship with God.   Confess you sin and return to fellowship with God (1 John 1:9).  Being born again is a seen as a “one time” baptism in water … “a resurrection to new life in Jesus Christ”, whereas ongoing confessing of sin in the life of a believer is seen as “having Jesus wash the dirt from your feet daily”.  Remember sin is always enticing: it fascinates before it assassinates: it brags with sass then kicks you ass!: it promises gold but steals your soul.
