I am befuddled by the born again believers who think there is going to be a great revival of believers in America that will bring about a great “harvest” of believers in the world, right before God raptures His Church to Heaven.  I would like to think this is true but because we are living in a “lukewarm” Laodician Church Age of deception that for the most part preaches a politically correct “be nice” gospel of “acceptance of sin” instead of “repentance from sin”, I just don’t see a revival of the Church occurring before Christ comes to “rapture” His Church to Heaven.  I think Christian believers who follow the teaching of Rick Joyner and believe in a “revival of the church” and an “End Times Harvest of Believers” by the Church today have a real zeal for God but they don’t have much discernment about the Spiritual condition of this present Church Age or an understanding of God’s word as it relates to end time prophetic events.  Also there are Christians who want to see a revival of Christian values in our government and they are active in politics but not in preaching the gospel and soul winning for Jesus.

It is the outpouring of God’s Holy Spirit that brings a “Great Awakening” like in the 1730’s and 1740’s which bring souls to Christ and advances God’s Kingdom on the earth.  I do believe God has answered the prayers of American believes in the 2016 election and the Trump presidency is putting our nation back on a moral track and sparing us God’s judgment as a nation.  But this is not a “revival of the church” but it is a revival of patriotism and building up of America which will result in a building up hate against America and Israel.  I think this is setting the stage for God to remove the church and godly leadership from the earth by the rapture, which will leave a vacuum for those who hate God to quickly fill … without pause or regret for those who are gone.

Actually, I believe that in spite of the condition of the Church today, God is doing an amazing work of grace in saving souls during these last days of the Church age.  There are many stories about people who are coming to Christ in countries where converting to Christianity comes at a great cost of persecution and even death.  Muslims are coming to Christ by seeing visions of Christ in their dreams.  And in China and India the technology of the Internet, Social Media and especially FM radio is having a dramatic impact in spreading the gospel to these hard to reach areas.  And many believers from other countries are sending missionaries to America to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, since the lukewarm church of America is more interested in seeking the prosperity of money on earth than in seeking treasures in Heaven.

And even though the Church in America has waned in it’s passion and support for missions, the faithful few who do go and remain on the mission field are finding new creative ways to effectively spread the gospel by using the technology of today.  For instance, those who are translating the word of God into other languages are using computers to help with the effort and they are completing the effort in record pace.  Yet, there remains 1,800 people groups who do not have the word of God in the native language and 3 billion people who have never heard of the gospel of Jesus Christ.  So you see there is still a lot of gospel seed planting to do before the “Big End Time Harvest” can be realized … but this end-time harvest will be completed by an angel who will fly through they sky at the close the 7 year Tribulation period, not by the lukewarm Church (Revelation 14:6).

Those who are looking for an end-time “harvest” base their reasoning on what Jesus said:

Matthew 13: 37 And He said, “The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man, 38 and the field is the world; and as for the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom; and the tares are the sons of the evil one; 39 and the enemy who sowed them is the devil, and the harvest is the end of the age; and the reapers are angels. 40 “So just as the tares are gathered up and burned with fire, so shall it be at the end of the age. 41 “The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness, 42 and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 

Yes, Jesus is talking about an end-time harvest but He talking about a harvest that occurs at the end of the Tribulation Age … not at the end of the Church Age and He is referring to a harvest of “unbelievers” tares, that will be physically removed from the earth at the end of the “Tribulation Period” and thrown into a furnace of fire, the Lake of Fire!  This 

The Tribulation period, or time of Jacob’s trouble is a 7 years long, it is the last seven years of 490 years of “discipline” that that Jewish nation has left to complete.  The Jewish Age, was “cut off from their ministry of the gospel” and put on hold until the completion of the Church Age.  The Jewish Age was “cut off” when and the Church was “grafted in” when Jesus gave up His life on the cross for our sin.  When the Church is taken up in the “Rapture”, the Jewish Age clock will continue for 7 more years …  and at the end of the 7 year Tribulation period there will be a great “battle” judgment of unbelievers at Armageddon (Revelation 19:19), at Christ’s triumphant return and those who have taken the mark of the Beast will be “harvested” as grapes of wrath, removed from the earth and cast into fire to be burned for all eternity!

Matthew 25:  31“But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne. 32“All the nations will be gathered before Him; and He will separate them from one another, as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats; 33and He will put the sheep on His right, and the goats on the left.

There is actually a lot of “harvesting” that occurs during the Tribulation period, believers (wheat) who are martyred for their faith and unbelievers (tares) who die from plagues, natural disasters and God’s bows of wrath!  There is also a “Sheep and Goat” judgment that occurs at at the end of the Tribulation period, after the battle of Armageddon and right before the Millennium Kingdom.  These “goat” unbelievers are people who have seen and endured the wrath God’s judgement upon the world and they have seen one of more of the 144,000 Jewish witnesses, plus they have even seen and heard an Angle preach the gospel.  They have even seen Christ return with His saints upon the earth for the final battle of Armageddon, yet their hearts remain cold toward God and concerned only about themselves. These unbelievers will be removed from the earth as “goats” during the sheep and goat judgment prior to Christ setting up His Millennium Kingdom (I will discuss this more about the sheep and goat judgment later in this article).

Revelation 14:1Then I looked, and behold, the Lamb was standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His name and the name of His Father written on their foreheads. 2And I heard a voice from heaven, like the sound of many waters and like the sound of loud thunder, and the voice which I heard was like the sound of harpists playing on their harps. 3And they sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders; and no one could learn the song except the one hundred and forty-four thousand who had been purchased from the earth. 4These are the ones who have not been defiled with women, for they have kept themselves chaste. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These have been purchased from among men as first fruits to God and to the Lamb. 5And no lie was found in their mouth; they are blameless.. 6And I saw another angel flying in midheaven, having an eternal gospel to preach to those who live on the earth, and to every nation and tribe and tongue and people; 

Revelation 14 is describing the assembly of the resurrected bodies of the 144,000 Jewish evangelist.  These Jews received a mark and indwelling of the Holy Spirit at the 3 1/2 year mark of the Tribulation and during the last 3 1/2 years of the Great Tribulation they spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to both Jew and Gentile.  They are the “first fruits” to God and to the Lamb.  I am not exactly sure what this means?  Jesus is the first fruits of the resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:23) but these are either the first “Jews” to receive a resurrected body or they are considered a “pure” first fruits offering, since they were virgin men with no lie in their mouth.  The rest of the Old Testament Jews where translated to Heaven from Sheol when Jesus rose from the grave after the cross on Calvary.  It’s likely that all OT believers will received their resurrected bodies at the time of Christ’s return and ride with Him to victory to the battle of Armageddon (Revelation 19:14).

Today, during the Church Age, both Jew and Gentile are indwelt with the Holy Spirit when they believe and both share the gospel of Jesus Christ.  But during the Tribulation period I don’t think the Holy Spirit will dwell within believers as it does during the Church Age but it will “fall upon” people periodically as it did during the Jewish Age.  And I am not exactly sure what the “eternal gospel” message will include but it probably be more like the message of “repentance” that John the Baptist preached (Acts 13:24).  There has only ever been one way to enter the Kingdom of God and that is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, not by works (Ephesians 2:8-9) however “works of love” will play a part in a person being allowed to enter the Millennium Kingdom on earth as a Sheep …. keep reading. 

Revelation 19 11:And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war. 12His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many diadems; and He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself. 13He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. 14And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses. 15From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty. 16And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”

And when heaven opens and reveals the King of Kings coming to earth with His army of saints on white horses, this is the victory march of Christ!  Jesus comes and kills all those who have gathered at Armageddon to do battle with Him.  He kills them with the sword of the word from His mouth and this eliminates this group of unbelievers from the earth!

Revelation 14:9Then another angel, a third one, followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is mixed in full strength in the cup of His anger; and he will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11“And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever; they have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.” 12Here is the perseverance of the saints who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus.

In the above passage we see that those who worship the Beast or have taken the “mark of Beast” will be killed by the wrath of God.  Therefore, most of these unbelievers will have died from the judgments of God that are poured out on the earth during the last 3 1/2 years of the Great Tribulation.  But any one who has taken the mark of the Beast and remains when Christ returns to earth will be cast into hell where they await judgment before the White Throne of Judgment, to determine the degree of the suffering in the Lake of Fire.  This is group of people with the mark of the Beast are “part” of the unbelievers who are taken in the “Goat” judgment.  Now some pastors, like John MacArthur, argue that you can take the mark of the Beast and still be saved and thus avoid God’s wrath and death.  But my interpretation is that the “mark of the Beast” will seal you for condemnation as an unbeliever for all eternity during the Tribulation Period, similar like the mark of Christ, the Holy Spirit, seals a believer for redemption for all eternity during the Church Age.  So we have discussed how God removes unbelievers and demons who gather to do battle with Him at Armageddon and we have discussed how God removes unbelievers who have taken the Mark of the Beast but there are other unbelievers who God’s removes as Goats … keep reading.

Matthew 25:  31“But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne. 32“All the nations will be gathered before Him; and He will separate them from one another, as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats; 33and He will put the sheep on His right, and the goats on the left.

 

 34“Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. 35‘For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; 36naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.’ 37“Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? 38‘And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? 39‘When did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40“The King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.’

 

 41“Then He will also say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels; 42for I was hungry, and you gave Me nothing to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me nothing to drink; 43I was a stranger, and you did not invite Me in; naked, and you did not clothe Me; sick, and in prison, and you did not visit Me.’ 44“Then they themselves also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not take care of You?’ 45“Then He will answer them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ 46“These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” 

This is perhaps the most controversial passage of judgment which occurs after the battle of Armageddon and at the close of the Tribulation period and right before God sets up the Millennium Kingdom on earth.  Who are the “sheep” nations who inherit the Kingdom on earth and who are the “goat” nations who are “removed” from earth?  Actually, the word “nations” should be translated as people or Gentiles.  This is not a judgment of “nations” but of individuals or Gentile, non-Jewish individuals.  Remember, the seven year Tribulation period is the “final week of discipline for the Jews” and the judgement of unbelieving Gentiles.  And the seven years are divided into two 3 1/2 year periods.  At the beginning of the 7 year period, all Church age believers and the Holy Spirit in those believers has been removed by the rapture of the church, so the 7 year Tribulation begins with only unbelievers.  And at this point the world is once again divided into Jews and Gentiles, not believers and unbelievers as it is during the Church age.  The Gentiles who come to a saving faith in Christ during the Tribulation period (most of which will be martyred for their faith) will most likely not be indwelt with the Holy Spirit but they will be like in the Old Testament believers where the Holy Spirit fell upon people and they prophesied and received power from God.  But the Holy Spirit also could leave the believer, as with David when he pleaded “take not Thy Holy Spirit from me (Psalm 51:11)“.

Let’s me take a minute to talk about the two 3 1/2 year periods of the Tribulation.  During the first 3 1/2 year period, everything will go just the way the Antichrist has planned it.  The Jews will be protected from persecution by a covenant with the Antichrist.  The Jews will be allowed to exist in Israel and they will not have to take the Mark of the Beast in order to buy and sell.  However, if you are not a Jew then you will have to take the mark of the Beast and worship the Beast so you can buy and sell using the world economic system.  (a) Those who take the mark are sealed for condemnation and death that will occur during the Tribulation period.  (b) Those who refuse to take the mark of the Beast and refuse to worship the Beast will be martyred for their faith, and most of those who are martyred will put their faith in Jesus.  This is why we see many souls in Heaven, the Tribulation saints, crying to God for justice before His throne (Revelation 6:9-11).  (c) I think if you are rich, you will be able to pay the Antichrist enough money so you don’t have to take His mark and you can have others buy and sell for you.  I think these people will make up the “goat” Gentile unbelievers.  (d)  Lastly, you can hide from the Antichrist and try to survive in the woods, away from society or perhaps survive in an underground shelter.  I think these people make up the “sheep” Gentile believers.

During the last 3 1/2 years, the tables will turn on the Antichrist and God will start judging the Antichrist and reigning down His wrath on those who have taken the mark of the Beast.  The Financial system,  Economic system, Political system and Religions system of the Antichrist will start to fail as God’s bowls of judgment are poured out upon earth.  Eventually all businesses will go bankrupt and those who have taken the mark of the Beast will curse God as they die in agony.  At the mid-way point of the Tribulation, when the Antichrist declares that he is god in the temple, he in effect declaring that the seven year treaty with the Jews is void and he starts to track the Jews to kill them.  Fortunately, God will provide a place for the Jews to ride out the persecution and God will use people “Gentiles” to protect and hide the Jews.  During the last 3 1/2 years, the 144,000 “sealed” Jews will be preaching the gospel to both Jews and Gentiles.  And even an Angle from Heaven will fly through the air declaring the gospel.  So by the end of the Tribulation period 1/3 of the Jews will be saved and waiting for Christ and many Gentiles will be saved and many Gentiles will have helped protect the Jews.

So at the Sheep and Goat judgement, my interpretation is that the “sheep” are non-Jewish individuals “Gentiles” who have have not taken the Mark of the Beast and they have responded to the preaching of the 144,000 Jews by aiding a Jew.  When Jesus says, you helped one of “these brothers of Mine” I think Jesus is referring to a Jewish brother of physical birth, not a gentile brother of Spiritual re-birth. The Tribulation period is a dispensation that is similar to the Jewish Dispensation, when the Jews where given the privilege of being God’s witness to the world, displaying His glory and leading people to salvation.  I think those Gentiles who aid the Jews and protect the Jews from persecution during the Tribulation period will be rewarded and enter the Millennium kingdom.  So are these gentiles that perform these acts of mercy to the Jews in fact believers of Jesus Christ?  I think “yes” they are believer for the most part but I think some are perhaps only “seekers” of God.  If they are not believers of Jesus Christ they are people that “act justly, love mercy and walk humbly” toward their fellow man.  So perhaps it is God’s mercy and grace that allows “peace seeking” people to enter the Millennium Kingdom in order to find the Prince of Peace.

We have already discussed how those with the mark of the Beast are removed from earth in judgment but I also think there will be Gentiles unbelievers who have who have not taken the mark of the Beast but they have helped no one but themselves.  I think a Goat individual will have heard the gospel from one of the 144,000 sealed Jews and they will have heard the gospel from the Angel who preaches from the air and they will have had an opportunity to aid and protect a Jew but they will have turned their back on that opportunity.  These goat Gentiles are unbelievers that have harden their heart beyond the ability to be saved and they will face judgement, eternal death, for their hard hearts towards the Jews and others!  The Lord will gather the unbelieving “tares” of Satan (the goat Gentiles) and remove them from earth before the Millennium Age, while the believing “wheat” of Christ believer and those that aided the Jews will stay and go forward into the blessing of the Millennium Age.

Let me clear something up, people aren’t judged for eternal damnation because they are born into a certain nation or family and they aren’t judged based on their bad works and attitude.  People are “taken from the earth” in judgement because they have rejected Jesus and they have hardened their heart beyond the point of being able to be saved.  Those who choose Jesus as their Savior enter eternal life, those who reject Him enter eternal death.  When God judges a nation today, bringing trails upon that nation, it is because that nation fails to uphold righteous and moral laws.  Remember in the case of Sodom and Gomorrah, God rescued faithful Lot and his family before He rained down judgment upon that city.  And in the case of God’s judgment upon the Canaanite nation, all the adult people hearts had hardened beyond repentance, so God used the Jews to execute His judgment upon them.

And let me clear something else up, good works DO NOT save a person, they never have and they never will.  It is the motive behind the good work that matters … the people must believe the message of the two witnesses, the 144,000 or angel and do the work based on this belief. I think salvation from sin will be accomplished more like the Old Testament time when an offering of sacrifice was given to show your faith to God and an offering of help to a Jew will show your heart is right toward God during the Tribulation period.  The only way to be saved from your sin is to believe in Jesus Christ.  Entering the Millennium Kingdom on earth is not the same as entering into Heaven, which is based on belief in Christ.  Entering into the Millennium Kingdom is more like crossing over the Jordan to enter the promise land.  Remember, God had the Jews wonder 40 years in the dessert so those who “rebelled” after leaving Egypt and would not enter the promise land but dropped dead in the dessert.  Yet, this is not to say that all the Jews who entered the Promise land where believers of God, for later we read in Joshua 7 where Achan sinned by hiding treasure from Jericho.  Also, we know that although Ham was saved through the flood he later sinned and exposed the nakedness of his father, Noah.  To be honest I am not exactly sure how God determines His “Sheep” people that will enter the Millennium Kingdom but He has it figured out.  The main thing to understand is that a person taken as a Goat will not be unfairly judged while a person allowed to enter as a Sheep will also be fairly judged.

Revelation 14:  14Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and sitting on the cloud was one like a son of man, having a golden crown on His head and a sharp sickle in His hand. 15And another angel came out of the temple, crying out with a loud voice to Him who sat on the cloud, “Put in your sickle and reap, for the hour to reap has come, because the harvest of the earth is ripe.” 16Then He who sat on the cloud swung His sickle over the earth, and the earth was reaped.  

Revelation 14: 17And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, and he also had a sharp sickle. 18Then another angel, the one who has power over fire, came out from the altar; and he called with a loud voice to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, “Put in your sharp sickle and gather the clusters from the vine of the earth, because her grapes are ripe.” 19So the angel swung his sickle to the earth and gathered the clusters from the vine of the earth, and threw them into the great wine press of the wrath of God. 20And the wine press was trodden outside the city, and blood came out from the wine press, up to the horses’ bridles, for a distance of two hundred miles.

Here are two “harvests” that occur at the end of the 7 year Tribulation period.  Many people will come to a saving faith in Jesus Christ because they will realize they are “left behind” after the rapture.  Some will believe because of the two witnesses and some will believe because of the witness of the 144,000.  Yet many believers will die because they are martyred for their faith and some will die because of the lack of food, some will die because of the plagues and some will die because of the earthquakes, floods and volcanoes on the earth.  Yet, all “believers” who die during the Tribulation period will be resurrected and return with Christ to rule and reign upon the earth for a 1,000 years.

There is much controversy about these two harvests.  I have read several commentaries like this one that believes these two harvests are both for “unbelievers” http://ad2004.com/prophecytruths/Articles/TwoHarvestingAngels.pdf.  But because the FIRST harvester in Revelation 14:14 is the “Son of Man”, Jesus, then it makes sense that the harvest is a “resurrection” for believers who have died during the last 3 1/2 years of the Tribulation.  Note, I have updated this article on 7/27/2022 to point out that in Rev 14:13, “Blessed are those who die in the Lord” during the last 3 1/2 years.  I think therefore that Rev 14:14 is talking about a “wheat” harvest of believers who are dead in Christ (during last 3 1/2 years) and are RESURRECTED by Jesus to enter the Millennium.

Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.’ ” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them.” – Rev 14:13

Here is another explanation of the FIRST Harvester, Jesus, is this is the reference to the “goat” unbelievers … “tares” to be “burned”.  This group of unbelievers have not taken the Mark of the Beast (the mark of the Beast unbelievers are removed in the second harvest of grapes) but the “tares” unbelievers are those have hidden themselves from both the Antichrist and God.  They have not helped a Jew or a believer to survive the Tribulation period but have selfishly only looked our for themselves. These are “goats” that are removed from the earth before the Millennium.

The second harvest of Revelation 14:19 is for unbelievers who have taken the mark of the Beast.  It is a grape harvest of the wicked unbelievers who come out to do battle with against Jesus at Armageddon.  Jesus will destroyed His enemy with the sword from his mouth and this is why his robe is dipped in “their” blood, a pre-bloodied robe.

Revelation 19: 13He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. 14And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses. 15From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty.

Now once Jesus returns to earth with His army of Saints, which I think will occur on the Feast of Trumpets (Revelation 19:14), He then defeats all the armies gathered against Him at Armageddon on the Day of Atonement (Revelation 19:19), then He sets up His Millennium Kingdom on the day of Tabernacles, which is the judgement of the Sheep and Goats (Revelation 20:4).  

The preaching of the 144,000 sealed Jews will convert 1/3 of the Jews upon the earth who will look upon Jesus, whom they pierced when He returns and recognize Him as their Messiah (Zechariah 13:9).  While the 2/3 of the Jews who don’t believe are removed from the earth (Zechariah 13:8).   And the preaching of the 144,000 sealed Jews will save many Gentiles and provide a way for some unbelieving Gentiles who showed favor to the Jews to enter the Millennium Kingdom on earth where they will perhaps be saved at a later date … these are “sheep” people.  But all those who have taken the Mark of the Beast or have NOT show favor to God’s people will be removed from the earth in judgement.  These unbelievers will be “taken” from the earth by the sickle of God’s wrath, to wait in hell before being judged at the White Throne of Judgment” for their degree or punishment for eternity in the Lake of Fire.

In summary, the great harvest prior to beginning the Millennium Age includes the “Sheep” people who have either come to a saving faith in Jesus Christ or aided a Jew or Christian during the Tribulation period.  These are harvested as wheat for a blessing and are allowed to enter the Millennium Kingdom.  And the great harvest includes the “Goat” people who taken the mark of the Best or have hardened their heart beyond repentance.  Therese are harvested as “tares” to be removed from earth and thrown into the Fire!

And if you are wondering what the Church Age will look like prior to the rapture, it is not going to look like a Big House of “revival” but it will look more like a house of apostasy and possibly persecution for real Christians.  Jesus, said “For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah.”  –  Matthew 24:37  And during Noah’s time, Noah was mocked by everyone for believing in the Lord and building an ark.  When the flood came at the end of that Age, all unbelievers where taken in judgement from the earth and only eight of Noah’s family members were saved from the flood.  But were all Noah’s family saved believers or were some of Noah’s family unbelievers … like Ham?  Perhaps, Ham found favor with God because he was obedient to his father before the flood and he survived the flood judgment but afterward on the “post flood earth”, Ham acted on the sin nature in his heart toward his father when he looked upon his father’s nakedness (Genesis 9:22).  This is an example of why I think it is possible for some “future” unbelievers to enter the Millennium Kingdom. 

Therefore, before Jesus comes to take His bride (the Church) to Heaven, there will most likely NOT be a revival of the Church and there will NOT be an increase of God’s presence upon the earth but there will be an increased amount of sin and acceptance of sin in the world, a preoccupation with worldliness and an increased hatred for God’s word and God’s people.  And this is exactly what we are seeing in America and the world.  We are seeing people rioting and coming unglued, especially in light of a Trump presidency that wants to reestablish “godly” law and order.   This “great divide” in the world over what “seems right” and what “is right” is a result of the increased activity of Spiritual darkness.  Satan knows that his time to freely roam the earth is coming to an end and he knows he will soon rule the world as the Antichrist so he is working overtime to stir up conflict between those who want a government that “seems good to man” instead of a government that “is good based on God’s word”.

I recently watched the following video where this retired firefighter, Mark Taylor, says God “spoke” to him about a great end-time harvest of the church, that would be led under the Donald Trump presidency.  Somehow, he prophecies that Trump is going to unite and ignite the churches of America to preach the gospel throughout the world to bring about an end-time harvest of believers.  Here is part of the message Mark said he received from God  “To the Army of God from the Department of Spiritual Warfare, join together and embark on this crusade.  You will bring about the (1) destruction of the Satanic war machine, (2) bring about security and (3) a free world.”

Mark Taylor says that God told him in 2011 that Trump was going to be president in 2012, but later God changed his mind concerning the 2012 election and now the prophecy applies to 2016.   Mark Taylor does this several times throughout the video, claiming he heard a specific prophecy from God that didn’t come true because he didn’t understand it correctly or God changed his mind.  Unfortunately, from the standpoint of passing the Bible prophet test, your revelations from God must come to pass with 100% accuracy, otherwise the people should ignore you as a false prophet (Deuteronomy 18:33).

Mark Taylor says that Donald Trump will fulfill the prophecy of destroying the “Satanic war machine” in a similar way that Emperor Constantine united the Church and ended persecution of Christians.  First of all, it is not a man who ultimately destroys Satan but it is Jesus Himself who comes from Heaven at the close of the Tribulation period with His saints to destroy Satan (Revelation 19:11-16).  Secondly, although it is true that Constantine ended the persecution of the church by making Christianity the national religion, this action didn’t result in advancing or increasing the “true” Church of Jesus Christ but it it resulted in creating the “apostate” Catholic church.  When people found out that leaders in the Constantine state sponsored church held positions of political power and no longer faced persecution, the power seeking opportunist came into the Church, polluted the teaching of God and eventually made up laws and traditions to persecute “real” believers.  So, in reality, because of Constantine the early church that was persecuted by Rome and faithfully preaching God’s word was changed into the apostate “Catholic church” that preaches to this day a gospel of human works salvation which is dependent on the hands of the Catholic priests.

And who do you think the “Woman who rides the Beast” is during the Tribulation period (Revelation 17:1-7)?   That’s right, it’s the revived Catholic Church (probably in union with Islam and all other religions or Chrislam) that persecutes those who won’t take the mark of the Beast (the seal of the Antichrist Kingdom – Revelation 13:17).   So you see, if the “the Church” today becomes joined with the world this will not be lead to a revival of believers to save souls but to a revival of unbelievers that kill souls!  This is essentially the purpose of Sharia law today, to kill and silence those who will not submit to Allah and become a Muslim of Islam.  Only when Christ comes and removes all the unbelievers and sets up the Millennium Kingdom on earth, will there be a successful union of Church and State … and this is only because Christ will rule perfectly “with a rod of iron” to quickly and justly discipline and judge sin on earth (Revelation 19:15).

Our founding fathers understood the problems that arise when the Church tries to run the State.  Many came to America fleeing the persecution of the Catholic church that ruled over people and Kings.  Thanks to the “reformation” the false teaching of the Catholic church was exposed and their strong hold over Christians was broken … well at least there reign of terror was stopped … for a while.  The separation of Church and State, is not to prevent God from being honored in public places and in public service or to prevent godly men from serving the State and giving God the glory for their service but it’s purpose is to prevent the State from mandating a national religion and mandating people give allegiance to a State made God.  Each man must come willing on his own free will to Christ.  The gospel of Jesus Christ is the business of the Church, not the State.  The State’s purpose is to allow the good work of godly men in the Church to preach the gospel, while the Church prays for godly men to lead the business of the State and pass laws that are morally in agreement with God!

And then there is the troubling character of Trump, with all the bragging about his accomplishments and childish name calling.  I don’t think Trump is a Christina but he is more a friend to Christians than Hillary.  Trump reminds me of Nebuchadnezzar of the Bible, he is someone with great leadership potential and God will use him but until Trump’s pride is broken, he will not know God or worship God.

But what about the events that are happening in America today?  Is America prophesied to play a role in ushering in the Antichrist?  What does a man named “Trump” have to do with the sounding of the “Last Trump” that calls the Church home to Heaven?  Is Donald Trump the Antichrist?

No, I don’t think Donald Trump is the Antichrist.  But, like it or not I do think Donald Trump will most likely be the next president of the United States of America elected in 2016.  Is Donald Trump more judgment from God because America has rejected God?  No, I don’t believe Donald Trump is  judgment from God for America’s sin.  However, I do believe Barack Obama is judgement from God upon America because I think O’bummer is a closet Muslim who is bought and paid for by George Soros to promote a New World Order controlled by the Illuminati (click on this link to find out more about this story).   And America deserves to be judged by God for removing God from the classroom and for removing God from the public spaces and for legalizing abortion and gay marriage.  Some have said that if God doesn’t judge America, He will have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah.

Yes, America is deserving more judgment from God but I think Trump is judgment from God against the world.  There is nothing specifically prophesied about  America in the Bible, but I think that God will use the Trump presidency to make Israel and America a catalyst that unites the world against them.  And, I think Trump will succeed in making the world hate America and Israel (even more than they do now) and yet, respect us at the same time … at least for a while.  I think if Daniel Matson’s prediction of the stars in Heaven are correct and the “Rapture” occurs in September 21, 2017 (click here for more info), this will create a sudden vacuum of power and America will be in a panic just like the rest of the world and they will fall to the Antichrist.

Look, I want to make something clear, I am not a prophet of God or a person who writes books for “profit”.  God has not spoken to me in visions or dreams about any specific upcoming event.  I am a born-again child of God, a servant of God and a lover of His word.  Even the date of “Rapture event” predicted by Daniel Matson is based on the alignment of of the stars in Heaven that will match what God has spoken in Revelation 12.  Daniel Matson has said he is not a prophet but he studies the stars and the planets to understand God’s timing (Genesis 1:15, Luke 21:5).  

Yes, I believe that God still speaks to His children today because I have heard His voice say to me “I love you” at a time in was in great despair.  I believe God talks to His children more on a personal level, to either encourage the believer or to give the believer steps to take, especially when it comes to witnessing and encouraging others about Christ.  I believe that God is still working miracles all the time and answering prayer but I do not think God needs any more prophets to give guidance concerning the future of Israel or the Church or the Nations because in His “Revelation” to John, God specifically states:

Revelation 22: “8 I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues which are written in this book; 19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the tree of life and from the holy city, which are written in this book.”

Those who claim to be a prophets from God during the Church Age like Joseph Smith who founded the Mormon Religion or Mohammad who founded the Muslim Religion or Charles Russell who founded the Jehovah Witnesses or Mary Baker Eddie who founded Christian Science Religion all claim to be someone special, with some special new revelation from God.  These false “prophets” who say they have received messages from God are the biggest source of pain to God because they mislead people concerning salvation that is found in Christ, the Son of God.  Yet, all people who claim to be “prophets” today pain God because He is not speaking through prophet anymore!  Christian “profits” have no better average of predicting a future event than a physic who get their visions from the god of this world, Satan.  And perhaps this explains where these visions come from, not from God but from an overactive imagination of sin or the manifestation of evil.

Plus all these false predictions give Christians and God a bad name in the world because people say, “Hey your God is a liar, what you said he would do didn’t happen.  I’m glad I don’t following him.“.  I think these “prophets” should fess up and shut up and thank God that He has not struck them dead!  As I’ve said, I think God is speaking to His children of the Church Age through the Holy Spirit of discernment concerning His already already revealed word.  If you want to know what God is doing in these last days be a good Berean and do your own research and reading of God’s word.  I welcome you comments.
