In December 2015, I wrote this poem “Christmas Joy” but in December 2016, I put the poem to song in “Will You Carry Jesus?”

Christmas Joy

The joy of Heaven came to earth

A baby boy of humble birth

The Angels sang, the Shepherds came

To worship Him and praise His name

The Lord, the truth, the life, the way

Was here at last on Christmas Day!

And as she held the Savior dear

Jesus held her and Blessed us here
