Jude 1:17-25 17But you, beloved, ought to remember the words that were spoken beforehand by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ, 18that they were saying to you, “In the last time there will be mockers, following after their own ungodly lusts.” 19These are the ones who cause divisions, worldly-minded, devoid of the Spirit. 20But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, 21keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting anxiously for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life. 22And have mercy on some, who are doubting; 23save others, snatching them out of the fire; and on some have mercy with fear, hating even the garment polluted by the flesh.   24Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy, 25to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.

2 Timothy 4:3-5  3For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, 4and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths. 5But you, be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

2 Thessalonians 2:7-12  7For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way. 8Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming; 9that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, 10and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. 11For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false, 12in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness.

These are the “last days” that Jude and Paul warned the church about, the time that marks the beginning of the end, the time when the world is ripe with sin and Jesus will come and rapture His church to heaven and the judge the world.  These are the days when people are running around wearing “crazy hats” and waving their arms in the air, proclaiming the gospel of tolerance of sin, the reformation of self-esteem and the power of positive thinking.  These are the days when people will not endure sound Bible doctrine because the teaching of humanism which is the love of self has invaded the church and perverted the teaching of God’s word which is deny self and take up your cross and follow Christ  (Matthew 16:24). 

These are the days when people no longer take responsibility for their lives but instead they act like a victim of social injustice, pitching a fit and throwing a tempter tantrum, like a child they are led by their emotions, destroying who ever and whatever is in front of them, demanding that the government give them what they want, as though they are “entitled” to it and it’s the government’s responsibility to provide for their daily need, instead of trusting in God who has promised to supply all our needs. (Philippians 4:19).

These are the days when a woman covers her face and would rather be lead by a man who abuses and bullies her, rather than to have to lead a lazy man who acts like a boy and takes no responsibility for her or their family.  These are they days when worthless men call themselves warriors by raping and killing defensiveness woman and children and beheading those who believe bring the good news of love in Jesus Christ.  There are the days when people are so busy trying to make ends met that they don’t see “the end” that is waiting to met them when they die.  These are they days when people no longer acknowledge and greet one another pleasantly on the street because they are transfixed on the gadget in their hand and give it all their attention as though it is the gateway to life and meaning.

These are the days when people hide behind locked doors, doped up on medication, drugs and alcohol, staring at a monitor for entertainment, trying to block out their hunger for God’s love and their need for His forgiveness.  These are the days when people walk the streets like zombies with blank stares on their faces, apathetic and indifferent to what is going on around them, overwhelmed by all that is wrong with the world yet too afraid to rock the boat and stand up for what is right, looking like deer caught in the headlights and sheep headed to slaughter, they look for their savior, the Antichrist of this world to come and rule over them and give them his mark that seals their death and eternal destruction.

These are the day when people sound like frogs croaking in the dark, burping up deceptive cliches like “life is good” and “trust your heat‘, instead of proclaiming the “real good life that is only found in Christ” and entered into by “trusting God“, not your heart.  These are the days when people are disillusioned and frustrated by all the injustices in the world but instead of  trying to do something constructive to fix the injustices they become a worse injustice, beating their breasts and grabbing their crotch they proudly sing their vulgar rap songs in anger and bang their heads up and down in agreement, louder and louder they scream out their frustration at the top of their lungs, trying to silence the fear of death within them and affirm the insanity of their intentions.  These are like the days of Noah and like the days of Sodom and Gomorrah, when people are parading about and shouting at the children of God to shut-up and be like them; undone, undressed and unashamed.  These are the days when people are deluded and demonic, like deviled eggs twice stuffed with hope and change, they believe in the lie of “self worth and self worship” instead of the truth that “our worth is found in Christ and He alone is worthy of worship“.

And worst of all, these are the days when religious leaders are trying to unify everyone into a “one world religion” where you define the kind of god you want to worship or worse yet you become your own god and receive the worship of others.  These are the days when people would rather have “unity and peace among men by ignoring the truth” than “peace with God by grace through faith in Jesus Christ who is the Truth”.  In rebellion to God, people today are rebuilding the Tower of Babel, the One World Religion, the One World Bank, the One World Order, the One United Nations, and the One World Abomination.  It is a pile of crap so tall and enormous that is covers the earth and produces a putrid stench so rotten and oppressive that the blood of Jesus cannot cleanse it and the people of Jesus can not live in it.  These are they days when Jesus is soon coming to “repature” His Bride, His Church, to Heaven before He comes to judge the world for seven year.  These are the day preceding the great Tribulation Period when the wrath of God will be poured out upon the earth to judge the Woman who Rides the Beast and drinks the blood of the martyrs and to judge Satan who possess the Antichrist and commits the abomination of desolation in the temple, declaring that he is god and to judge all those who take the mark of the beast and curse God’s name.

And for all those who believe Satan’s lie, that first deceived Adam and Eve, the lie that man can be his own god, this lie actually renders a man godless, gender-less and without an identity, leaving nothing but a shell of what looks like a man, a person tormented and stumbling along blindly by the light of his own reasoning … mumbling, grumbling and stumbling along day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute … slowly fading away like the Cheshire cat found in the Alice’s rabbit hole, until the person who is grumbling eventually ceases to exist and becomes the grumble itself … a grumble that is blowing in the wind.

The New Cross vs the Old Cross
