Some Christian Denominations do not teach about the “Rapture of the Church” and the ones that do teach about the rapture, often teach that we are not to be concerned about Christ’s return because Jesus said “no one knows the time or the season but the Father” (Matthew 24:36).  However, Jesus also told those who believe Him to “be ready” for His return at any time (Matthew 24:42).  Those who believe in Jesus are “bond servants”, a steward that is “in charge” of following Jesus, which means we are to “witness the saving truth of Jesus and love others in Jesus name”  (Matthew 24:45-47).  Jesus is the “Blessed Hope” of the believer, the grand graduation procession to Heaven, which means we are to “watch” for His return (Titus 2:13).  Therefore we are to both “watch” for Jesus’s return and “witness” to others about Jesus’ love, until we are taken out of here at the “fullness of time”. 

At the “fullness of time” the Lord will come for His church and during the present time God has partially hardened the hearts of Jews until the fullness of the Gentiles is complete (Romans 11:25).   The meaning here is that God has taken His focus off the Jews as the primary means to preach the gospel and He has put His focus on “the church” to preach the gospel message until the church is removed by the rapture.  The reign of the Gentiles began when the ark with Noah and his family landed and it ends at the close of the 7 year tribulation period.  I discuss the dispensations of history in detail below but what is relevant to history today is that when the last person on earth has made up their mind about being part of God’s church, Christ will come to rapture His church and begin the 7 year judgement of earth.  This is why it’s critical to “witness for Jesus” because you could be talking to that “last person” and after you share the gospel message with that person …  poof … in the twinkle of the eye … all believer are raptured to Heaven!

I wrote this article to give “reasons” why I think we are in the last day before Jesus’ return.  Yes, it’s true that each generation, since Jesus ascended to Heaven have thought that they might be the generation that will be “raptured” to Heaven since scripture does not reveal the exact time of Christ’s return but tells us to watch and be ready.  Also I think it’s natural for a Christian to long to be free from the burdens of this world and the sin that infects his soul.  Yes, the Christian has the down payment of the Holy Spirit to comfort him but the world, the flesh and the Devil are always present too in this world, trying to discourage the believer.  Jesus knows we get discouraged in the battle and that’s why I think he gave this “major indicator” to believers “at such a time as this” of what the world would be like before His return … it would be like the “days of Noah“.

Matthew 24: 36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.37 “For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. 38 “For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Man be. 40 “Then there will be two men in the field; one will be taken and one will be left. 41“Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one will be left.

So what were the days of Noah like?  Well, we don’t have newspaper archives or videos from that period to see the issue clearly and the above passage doesn’t give us a lot of information about the political environment or the top 40 hits of the day but the jest of the passage is that people were doing normal everyday things and “they did not understand” until the flood came.  But what didn’t they understand?  They “didn’t understand” that God was really going to judge them because of their sin until the flood was upon them and they were dying in their sin.  They didn’t understand or “believe” that they were accountable to God for their sin and for accepting God’s son who was to come as their Savior so they would be “free from sin”.  In addition, we know that during this time the fallen Angels polluted the “gene pool” of man by having sex with the daughters of men (Genesis 6:1).  This created a serious situation, since God had promised in Genesis 3:15 to bring a Savior through a woman but the offspring of fallen Angels and women made hybrid beings called the “Nephilim”, that looked giant men and woman but were not men and woman since the Nephilim had combined DNA of both Angel and human.

Essentially, Noah and his family were the only ones on earth who had concern for God’s plan and God’s promise, which is why they “understood” that God was going to judge the whole earth with a flood.  Noah and his wife, his 3 sons and their 3 wives were not polluted by Nephilim DNA, which made giant mean men (and women too?)  I don’t think Noah and his family were the last men and woman with pure human DNA but they were the last men and woman who had pure concern for God while everyone else on earth had turned to their “own way”.  Perhaps the number one hit song of the day was “I did it my way”.  The point I am trying to make is that during the days of Noah everyone had heard the message that God was coming to judge the earth with a flood because they could see the witness of Noah’s ark, they were without excuse, but no one cared or believed the judgement was really was going to happen.

I think this same kind of apathy and rebellion toward God’s is once again rampant upon the earth.  Yes, there has always been apathy and rebellion toward God but the difference today is that the apathy and rebellion are “world wide” like during Noah’s time.  Those who do witness about God’s message of salvation in Jesus Christ are mocked or persecuted like during the days of Noah.  The world is not looking to be saved from this world of sin by the King of Heaven but they are looking for the king of earth, the Antichrist, to come and set up a New World Order on earth.  The unbelievers today do not believe in sin or a God who judges sin or a Savior who forgives sin or a Kingdom of Heaven to come that is without sin but they trust in their works and reasoning that they can build a kingdom better than by doing it God’s way.  In fact they think they are god.

The Rapture Clearly Taught in Scripture

There are many passages in the Bible concerning the Rapture of the Church in the New Testament and there are examples of people being “raptured” in the Old Testament.   The word“rapture” is not found in the English KJV translation of scripture but the concept of the rapture of the church is taught in scripture.  The NASB translation above in verse 1 Thessalonians 4:17 uses the word “caught up”, which is translated from the Greek work harpazō  which means “to seize, carry off by force” or “to snatch out or away” or “to seize and claim for one’s self eagerly”.  So you see “we”, the church, the Bride of Christ will be caught up, “raptured”, in the clouds to meet the Bridegroom, the Lord Jesus Christ (along with those who died in Christ) when the archangel gives a “shout” and the “trump” of God is sounded.  Therefore comfort one another with these words. 

“If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.” – John 14:3

1 Corinthians 15: 50Now I say this, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. 51Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, 52in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 53For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54But when this perishable will have put on the imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written, “DEATH IS SWALLOWED UP in victory. 55“O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR VICTORY? 1 Thessalonians 4: 13But we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as do the rest who have no hope. 14For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus. 15For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. 18Therefore comfort one another with these words.

The following passage talks about how the rapture will occur “prior” to when the Antichrist is revealed on earth.  Paul states that the “restrainer” is the Holy Spirit power of the church that now restrains the Antichrist from coming onto the scene and declaring himself king.  This means there will be a “pre-tribulation” rapture of the Church where the restrainer is removed from the earth and then the Antichrist will come.  Jesus’ words to “watch and be ready because we don’t know the time of His return” only makes sense from a “pre-trib” rapture viewpoint.  Plus the 7 year Tribulation period is the wrath prepared for the Gentiles and the time to complete the 470 years of discipline for the Jews, not a period for the Church.  There are many reasons that support a pre-tribulation rapture and this web site does a good job listing them:  http://christinprophecy.org/articles/why-i-believe-in-a-pre-tribulation-rapture/

World Wide Delusion of Reality

Scientist today deny reality in order to deny God.  Scientist deny the laws of nature they know to be true in order to deny the God of love that they hate.  For instance, they propose a “Big Bang” or energy (which they don’t know where it came from) suddenly exploded (why? who knows) on matter that was tightly compressed (which they have no clue where it came from either) and scatted matter into the cosmos as an exploding gas, where it then cooled and continues to scatter and expand.  Even if you swallow the theory that “in the beginning was nothing and then it exploded”, what cased matter to stop expanding and come together to make stars and planet and galaxies?  And the exact positioning of planet earth that allows life to exist, is so unique that no other of the trillions planet in the cosmos shares it’s properties, a condition that defies probability of chance.  But let’s not get scientific here because then we would have to believe that an all powerful intelligent designer “outside our universe” made the universe, gave energy to matter and orders the placement of matter.

And scientist know from observation that systems go from “order to disorder”, from shinny new to rusty old.  They call this the 2nd law of thermodynamics.  Yet, they deny this law in order to teach the theory of evolution, which proposes that life magically sprung from unorganized chemicals (disorder) over billions of years of time and developed into the an organized (order) creature of life.  Or as I like to say “from goo to you by way of the zoo”.  

The massive amount of “ordered information” found in DNA, the code for life, and the complex protein manufacturing assemblies that produce other proteins that create the cells of life, do not allow for the possibility that life occurred by chance.  In their “scientific” journals they reassure one another saying “yes, life appears to be intelligently designed but it’s not … don’t panic …. and we are working on a reason to explain why it’s not.”  Well, scientist will continue to dream up way to deny the evidence and existence of God, just like people of Noah’s time denied the evidence of why he was building an ark, but God is not mocked.  And God is not going to save someone against their will, even though Calvinism teaches otherwise.  The bottom line is that this “world wide” delusion about reality is leading to a world wide judgement from God.

World Wide Delusion of Morality

What follows from a world wide delusion of reality is a world wide delusion of morality.  For if God did not create the world or have purpose for the world then there is no reason to believe in Him or believe in His word or His moral truth that is revealed in His word.  The result is that without the belief of the authority of God, the 10 commandments just become the 10 suggestions from some other man who wrote down “his opinion” in a book called the Bible.

And since one man’s opinion is no more valuable than another man’s opinion, this leaves the issue of morality open to each individual to decide what works “best” for them.  Ironically, this was essential the original sin of Adam and Eve that got us into this mess, in that Adam and Eve were tempted to believe that God’s way wasn’t the best for man.  Yes, we are back full circle to the beginning of sin but this time there is knowledge of Christ and His offer of forgiveness from sin.  Therefore if you ignore so great a salvation, there is nothing more God can do for man other than to give him what he wants, a eternity of torment doing it his own way, separated from God (Hebrews 2:3).  

World Wide Delusion of Spirituality

Once God is no longer honored as “Supreme Creator” and no longer considered the “Absolute Law Giver”, then there is no reason to honor Him as Lord and Savior.  For if you don’t believe there is a Moral Law or a Moral Law Giver or a God who is powerful enough to enforce the law, then there is no such thing as a transgression of the law, i.e. sin, and therefore no reason to be saved from sin.  This is theology and the point of no return that many “so called” Christian churches have embraced.  

The lukewarm Laodicean Church age is here and this is sign the Lord’s return is imminent.  The Delusional Liberal church has joined with the world and defines “sin” as the act of hurting someone’s feelings by telling the person about God’s truth of judgement of sinful behavior.   To the Delusional Liberal, “love” means you celebrate with others their lifestyle of sin!  Recently, I saw where the spokes person for woman’s right march was a Muslim woman who spoke about how much better it would be for woman  if we had Sharia law in America.  Seriously, people, this is Delusion at it’s zenith since woman are treated like property under Sharia!

World Wide Delusion of Socialaltiy

Once the belief in a creator God falls and the God’s moral compass falls and the Church proclaiming God’s truth falls then the last pillar to fall is civil liberty, where the world is dissolves into social chaos … “right becomes wrong and wrong becomes right“.  Because once you believe that you are able to decide what is “good and evil”, it naturally follows that you think you should have every good thing that your heart wants.  And the unrestrained “good intention” of your heart fuels your passion and deludes your mind to believe that “the government” is the one that should freely provide you all the good things you desire; free education, free health care, free food, free job, free housing, free car, free shoes, free golf … you know a free identity with a free lifestyle … let me be free to be me.

The latest craziness in human identity is where a person who wants to known as “non binary”, where you don’t associate as either a male or female gender.  It’s gender confusion on steroids.  Essentially, you are pissed off with the way both genders are represented in society so you do not have a gender identity.  Frankly, I really don’t know what rights “non binary” people are fighting for but one thing it means is that we have to add “N” to the LGBTQ group so they get their rights too.

And this my friends is where we are today.  The Media and the Liberals have proclaimed that they are the freedom fighters of Liberty, attacking all forms of conservative law and order, in order to implements a LGBTQN agenda and a socialist form of government … a Global New World Order.  The words of Donald Trump calling us to return to our roots and “Make America Great Again” are like finger nails upon a chalk board to someone who is deluded by their own self worth and their own self righteousness.  The left is now promoting violence as a way to silence the “right”, they choose “tribalism” over “the truth” … this is the last resort and the coward’s way of dealing with intellectual defeat.  

I am not sure Trump is a born again Christian but I do think that God is using Trump as a catalyst and lightening rod to test’s people hearts concerning whether or not they believe that this nation was founded upon the morality authority from the God of the Bible.  Look, Trump is no saint but the reason he is hated by the Media and Liberals is not because of his “cavalier” attitude  but because he is leading us away from a  Global New World Order and back to a America “first” agenda with secure boarders.  Obummer and Killary were taking us down the road to Sodom and Gomorrah morally and opening our doors to Muslims who want to implement Sharia law in America but thank goodness, God answered the prayers of His people to “deliver us from evil”.

More accurately, I think that Trump is part of God’s prophetic timing and His way of “calling out” the last believers while hardening the hearts of the unbelievers.  God wants none to perish and God is using Trump to reveal the hearts of those who love Him and those who reject Him, right before He raptures His church.  God is also using Trump to stop terrorism and create a “sense of peace” in the world.  He is calling terrorist “barbarians” and “evil losers”, branding them for what they really are.  This is another sign of the end-time “For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.”  1 Thessalonians 5:3.  In a strange way, I think Trump is like a for-runner for the Antichrist, in that Trump is unifying the world to fight terrorism and bring about world peace, while side-stepping the “real threat of the Islam” which is it’s fundamental teaching of world denomination by the sword and law of Sharia.  I do not think Trump is the Antichrist because I think the Antichrist he will be part Jewish and arise from Turkey … as the old Roman empire is revived.

I have been looking at the Ezekiel 38,39 Gog/Magog war against Israel and I am wondering if Russian (Turkey, Iran, Syria …) may initiate this war with Israel on Sept 21, 2017.  Then at exactly the same time that God rains down hailstones upon the armies that oppose Israel, He also raptures His church to Heaven.  This kind of thing will really get people’s attention and the Antichrist will even give “god” the glory, deceiving people to believe the God of the Bible and the god of Islam and the god of all religions are the same.  This is why he is accepted by the Jews and conquers the world without an army because all people left behind will cheer and demand that the Antichrist be recognized as king of world!

A new scenario I have been contemplating, is if the Church is raptured to Heaven on Sept 21, 2017 perhaps there will be a delay in time before the Tribulation begins.  Perhaps, even a 17 year delay.  I say 17 years because I am trying to reconcile the number of years since creation until 5993 years, am I am 17 years short (see bottom of this article) then + 7 years for the Tribulation = 6,000 and then 1,000 for Aluminium, for a total of 7,000 years.  A day is like 1,000 years and God’s divine number and signature is “7”.  During this time after the rapture the world will continue to build the Global New World Order, unopposed by Christians with only the Jewish nation left to shed some light on the world.  Then at the end of 17 years the Ezekiel 38,39 Gog/Magog war occurs and then the 7 year tribulation period.  Of course my calculations below could be off and this year of 2017 is the year 5993?

Trump gave a commencement speech at Liberty University, May 13 2017, and declared that “in America we don’t worship government, we worship God”.  This is just more God honoring truth that is sure to anger the media and the Liberals.  We are in a global civil “information” war, fighting over “what is right – based on God’s word” vs “what seems right – based on man’s word”.  And this civil war is going to end very suddenly by the rapture of the Church.

God’s Order of History (the fullness of time)

When you look back in time, you can see through the lens of scripture that history it’s all about “His-story“, the story of Jesus.  Right after the fall of Adam and Eve to sin, God told Satan, Adam and Eve that a redeemer would come, born of woman that would bruise the head of Satan by the heel of One born from the woman, Jesus, the Son of God.  

“And I will put enmity between you and the woman, And between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise you on the head, And you shall bruise him on the heel.” – Genesis 3:15

Looking back, you can see how God used different people at different times to proclaim the message of a Savior to come.  Then when Jesus came, He proclaimed on the cross that “It is Finished”, meaning by His life and death on the cross, He paid the price for all the sins of the world.  No, more animal sacrifices were needed by man to Spiritually pledge repentance from sin toward a Savior to come.  Jesus came and concurred death.  Now, a pledge to repentance from sin is done through belief in Jesus, a one time for all time salvation that is sealed by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

God is a God of order and He has determined an order and a plan that will be done!  God’s plan to fill the earth with people and allow them to reign and rule on earth was “side tracked” by sin but not destroyed by sin.  Those who are “born again” in Jesus Christ will one day be “without sin” and return to a new earth that is “without sin” to reign and rule forever with Jesus.  So you see, the earth, animals and the whole cosmos fell under the effects of sin when Adam sinned.  And the earth’s is like a child born of sin which begins at Adam’s fall.  Then at Noah’s time, the earth is like a child at the age of accountability and accepts Christ with a born again belief, which is accompanied by the water baptism of the flood.  Then after the flood is a time when the child becomes a man which begins with Abraham.  Now we are on the earth’s time when the earth is like a born again man serving God.  Perhaps the Millennium period on earth represents a time of “rest” like you are in the grave.  Then at the close of the ages, the earth will be made new, resurrected to a new eternal earth and the resurrected men and women of God will inherit and inhabit the earth, along with the Heavenly Host.  While all those who choose not to serve Jesus will forever be separated from God’s love in the Lake of Fire.

Those who look at time through the “lens of God” see God’s plan being fulfilled in an orderly way that reflects the “signature of God” … the number seven.  The number seven represents God’s holy purpose of completion.  God took 7 days for creation, 6 days to work, 1 to rest.  Man is created on day “6”, so this is his number, which is one less than God.  There are seven Jewish feasts, which line up like the seven candles on the menoria in the Temple,  3-1-3.   God commanded Joshua to march around Jericho for seven days (and on the seventh day to march around seven times) and for seven priests to blow seven trumpets outside the city walls (Joshua 6:3-4).  God is said to be “seven” spirits (Revelation 1:4).  And there are seven churches and seven letters and seven angels, one for each church.  And there are seven sealed judgement, seven trumpet judgments, seven thunder judgments and seven bowl judgments.  But I think the biggest sign of God’s holiness is seen in the “seven” periods or dispensations of time for man.  And we are living in age #6, the church age.

And like a week of time, God has ordained 7,000 years for man, for a day is like 1,000 years.  The first 6,000 years are years of man’s work and sin upon on earth and the last period will be a 1,000 years of rest and “relative” peace on earth, the Millennium period, where Christ will rule with a rod of iron.  The point I am making is that the 6,000 year mark is fast approaching and the next order of business for God on planet earth is the completions of the Jewish period of discipline (7 year tribulation) then the 1,000 year millennium period.  Due to uncertainties about lengths of some periods in the early Bible history, the actual specific date for the completion of the 6,000 years is difficult to calculate but we are very close and there is a sign in Heaven that occurs on Sept, 21 2017 that matches Revelation 12 and coincides with Rash Hashanahn, the feast of Trumpet.  There is strong reason to think that this is the date for Christ’s return to rapture His Bride, the Church!

However, according to the Jewish calendar the year 2017, is the 5777 year since creation.  The issue is, if God has prepared 6,000 years for the fullness of the time and the Church is raptured in 2017, the world would have to wait in for “216” years for the Antichrist to come in the Jewish year of 5993 or Calendar year 2233.  After doing my research on the Bible time line (see bottom of this article), I think the Jewish calendar is simply wrong.  There is especially controversy over the exact time of the Exodus of the Jews from Egypt from the Bible timeline and it’s unclear from archaeological evidence and writing outside the Bible to pinpoint the Exodus or even prove it ever happened.   My hope is that this year of 2017 is really the 5993 year after creation, which would be an affirming sign that the rapture will occur Sept 21, 2017!

The scientist think that the earth has existed for millions or billions of years and that it will continue to exist for millions or billions of years but this is just not true.  Man writes history in periods that make sense to him, by his accomplishments or by wars but this is not the way God sees history.  God has ordained time and history and periods of history for His purpose and for His glory.  This chart by Clarence Larkin shows the seven Dispensation periods of God.  Note, a “dispensation” period is not a period where there was another way to be saved but another method of proclaiming the One and Only way to be saved, which is through Jesus Christ (John 14:6).

Note, as I was explaining earlier, the period of the “Gentiles” began after the flood and the fullness will end with the Tribulation period.  The time of the Gentiles is divided into the reign of “kings or kingdoms” upon the earth, a total of “seven” – God’s divine holy number and the final five kingdoms (3 thru 7) are explained by Daniel in his vision (Daniel 7:1-28).  Here is the entire list of world wide Gentile rulers which also matches the vision of the seven headed beast that John saw.

And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. – Revelation 13:1

1. Sumeria – Nimrod – Abraham called out from Ur to serve God

2. Egyptian – Pharaoh – Israel called out from Egypt to serve God

3. Babylon – Nebuchadnezzar – gold – Israel under bondage 

4. Persian – Cyrus – silver – Israel allowed to return but still under Gentile control

5. Greek – Alexander – bronze – Israel prosecuted 

6. Roman – Caesar – iron – Israel controlled then scattered … Israel returns to their land

7. Revived Roman Empire – Antichrist – iron mixed with clay – this is a kingdom which is a mixture of Gentile leaders (the 10 Kings – toes – iron) and a Jewish or Arab born leader (the Antichrist -clay).  The Antichrist is probably part Jewish but he is a Muslim who implements Sharia over the whole world during the first 3 1/2 years of the Tribulation period.

Revelation 17: 10And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. 11And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition. 12And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. 13These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.

If you break this down, you see there are seven Gentile kingdoms and 1 through five have fallen.  The   “One is” kingdom is the kingdom that we are currently under,  the #6 Roman kingdom since it was never conquered.  And the “other” or #7 Kingdom, the Revived Roman Kingdom, is “not yet come” who’s leader, the “Antichrist/the beast from the sea” will rule for a short time, 3 1/2 years.  Then the Antichrist/beast, will receive a wound as unto death and seem to come back to life.  In other words, the Antichrist is the beast “that was” (a person that existed before the wound – possessed by Satan) and “is not” (meaning that this person is dead after the fatal wound), yet Satan is able to manipulate the body to pretend it is alive.  This is the eighth king, yet Satan is the force behind the resurrected Antichrist body #8 and the force within the Antichrist king #7, one in the same, Satan is bound for perdition!

Bible Timeline:

I am trying to reconcile the timeline of the Bible to determine if this is the 5993 year after creation, then that would leave 7 years of Tribulation, then the 1,000 year millennium period, making the entire timeline for man 7,000 years, which would coincide with the 7 day creation and the saying that a day with the Lord is like 1,000 years.   Here’s the article I have written with the evidence that this year 2017 is the 5993 year since creation:  http://die2live.worthyofpraise.org/rapture-countdown-1234567/
