It’s the second day of 2017 and many of you, like me, are watching a game of football.  You understand the goal of football is to score a touchdown.

 But more importantly, the goal of a person’s life is …

           to become more like Jesus Christ.

Each time you deny your self indulgent nature (sin) and you give or care for someone in Jesus’ name, God who is referring the game of life raises His arms and shouts “Touchdown for Jesus!”.
