Isaiah 62:6 “On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have appointed watchmen; All day and all night they will never keep silent. You who remind the LORD, take no rest for yourselves;”

Luke 21:36 “But stay awake at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

Ephesians 6:12 “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.”

Wow, there is much to watch from God’s wall today and the events unfolding before our eyes give us reason to sound the alarm! 

The Kingdom of Earth is at hand and the church age is drawing to a close.  The alarm needs to be sounded to warn God’s people of the coming storm of the Antichrist and the need for serious prayer.  There’s a whole lot of shaking going on  as God is shaking up His church so it will fulfill the great commission, preach the gospel of salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and the great commandment, to love others like Christ loves us.  Pray that the body of Christ, the church, will be found faithful when the Lord comes to “rapture” His bride to heaven.   Pray for our pastors and church leaders that they be grounded in truth and love of Christ.   Pray for our nation and our leaders.  Pray without ceasing.  Pray for the restraining power of the Holy Spirit to restrain evil and save the lost.  Cling to God and pray!

Of course it is not that God is alarmed at what is happening.  If you have been praying “Thy Kingdom Come, Thy Will be Done” then you can understand that the apostasy and lawlessness of today are signs that the coming seven year tribulation is almost here.  The church will be called to heaven, then the Antichrist will be exposed and rule “in peace” for 3 1/2 years, then he will declare himself god at the Jewish temple in Jerusalem, then there will be 3 1/2 years of “great” tribulation where the wrath of God is poured out on the earth.  After the seven years, God sets up His 1,000 year Millennium Kingdom on earth, and then sets up His Everlasting Kingdom, a new cosmos and a new earth … the Kingdom we are praying for!

When people call me a homophobic, racist, islamophobic or a sexist, I tell them I am a sin-a-phobic – I am afraid of sin!

America is on the wrong track. Almost 7 in 10 people believe this. Only 26% of Americans think we’re going in the right direction. In fact, only 37% believe America’s best days are still ahead of us. And the situation is growing critical. We’re not just in a season of decline. We are facing implosion!

Washington cannot fix all that ails us. We need to humble ourselves and pray like we’ve never prayed before.
