“and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.”  – Romans 8:17

OK, I wish I came up with this simple analogy of understanding the Christian life “You can “Have” it all – but you can’t “Own” it all” but I have to thank my brother in Christ, Alan Horvath who stated it so clearly in the video below “Waking in the World” … you cannot “own” the things of Elohim, but you can “have” the things of Elohim.  

Anyone who is born again in Christ Jesus is now a child of God and therefore a joint heir with Christ to everything God has created (Romans 8:17).  For this was the reason Christ went to the cross, to redeem man and all creation so that we could enjoy Him forever and enjoy the blessings that are found in fellowship with Him (Hebrews 12:12).  The Lord does not withhold any good thing from those that love Him.  This is the lie that Satan used to tempt Adam and Eve in the garden … that by eating the forbidden fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil they would gain something good that God was withholding from them and they could operate “independently” of God … thus making them their own god. 

For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD gives grace and glory; No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly.  –  Psalm 84:11

This is the original sin of Satan, that caused him to fall from being the “praise leader” of God to be the “praise deceiver” from God.  Satan exalted himself above God and declared that he “owned” the things of God and was worthy of praise (Isaiah 14:14).  But Satan is not worthy of praise because he is only a created being (like man), however, God has given Satan “limited” dominion over earth “for a while”, until the fullness of the Gentiles is complete (Romans 11:25) and the last seven years of Discipline for the Jews is complete (Jeremiah 20:7).  Then following the seven year Tribulation period, Satan is held in the bottomless pit, while Christ rules over Earth with His Saints for 1,000 years.  After that … well, Satan, the Fallen Angels and all unbelievers are thrown into the Lake of Fire to be tormented eternally, while all the believers in Jesus inherit a New Heaven and New Earth (Revelation 21:1). 

Don’t be fooled by the lie of Satan and those who preach the lie that you can “own” it all in this world!  These wicked men “masquerade as messengers of light” and pretend to preach the good news of Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 11:14-15) but instead they preach the light of the Antichrist not the light of the Jesus Christ (John 8:12).  When you hear someone talking about “owning” things in this world or “binding Satan” or “claiming” a healing or building a Kingdom on earth … well this is Satan’s lie plain and simple and you need to RUN!   Run brother, run sister, run from the presence of this preaching and those who are under it’s spell.  It is a message from the pit of hell and those who teach this abomination will be judged double for their sin.  And those who pursue this teaching, if they are NOT born again in Christ Jesus, they will rot in hell and those who pursue this teaching and are born again will “enter” the Kingdom of God but will have no “inheritance” in the Kingdom of God because they have wasted their time pursuing a Kingdom on earth.

Heath and Wealth are “good” things that God does bless His children with but they are not the only way or the guaranteed way that you can know God and know the blessings of God.  Seeking to “own” the blessing instead of seeking to know the One who blesses is lie of Satan to deceive people from trusting the Creator into trusted the things that are Created.

For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.  1 Timothy 6:10

It is not money that is the root of of many evils but it is the “love” of money that is the snare of Satan.  Money is merely a tool, like a hammer than can either be used to build a house or tear one down.  Money can be used to do God’s will in the hands of a faithful believer but money in the eyes of the world is the gauge of success for a persons’ life.  Therefore money, without a Christ based center for it’s use, becomes a warden who keeps a person a prisoner trying to make money that in the end doesn’t satisfy and cannot save the soul.  Even in the hands of the faithful believer, money tends to turn a person from depending on God, to depending on the money.  You can’t serve two masters! 

“No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth. ” – Matthew 6:24

By now, you would think that this simple lesson would be clearly understood but instead the rise of materialism is at an all time high both in the world and in the church and the rise of Spiritual deception is at an all time high too.  This is the picture of the rich and lazy Laodicean Church that Jesus said will be on earth in the last days.  A Church that is rich in material wealth but has forgotten Jesus Christ and His purpose to evangelize the earth.  When Jesus stands at the door and knocks He is trying to get back into His Church and turn people from worshiping the things of this world, back to worshiping Him.

‘Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.   –  Revelation 3:20

Yes, we are to pray to Jesus for what we need but we should be honest about our need for “why” we need this or need that.  James explains the problem with most of our prayers and why they are not answered, it is because our motives are “wrong”, we want this or that so we can live a life of pleasure, affluence and convenience.  Instead of asking for what we need  as a way to “serve” God and give Him the glory. 

You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures.  – James 4:3

Even among the faithful believers who are watching for Jesus Christ to appear and rapture His Bride, the Church, to Heaven in these last days, we should make sure our motive is to make Jesus known to others by the signs we see, not to make our self known.  And this, for the most part, is the attitude I see in those community of believers who are watched the September 23, 2017 Revelation 12 sign and continue to watch for the appearance of Jesus.  There is only one “Know Man”, that is Jesus Christ, the rest are watch men.   It is good to watch and speculate about Christ’s return and warn others because these signs in the Bible are being fulfilled before our eyes today but is not good to declare we know for sure the day or hour … because Jesus Himself said we cannot know it exactly.

“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.  – Matthew 24:36

I ask forgiveness from God if I have lead anyone astray in what I have said about the possible time of Christ’s appearing for His Bride, the Church, for I do not know the day or the hour and I never claimed to “own” a date.  I still contend that God is a God of order and that the year 5993 since creation makes the most sense for His return.  I also want people to know that from my “limited” research into the Bible timeline, the year 2017 is the year 5993.  My main source for proclaiming that 2017 is the year 5993 is from the book “The Messiah and His Kingdom to Come: A Biblical Road Map” by Robert A Makar.  However, I have also found that determining the number of years since the fall of Adam and Eve with 100% certainty is impossible, since dates often overlap one another as in the reign of kings.  Robert A Makar admits to this fact in his book.  Yet, for my inquisitive analytical mind, I have found it to be an enjoyable and rewarding way to understand God and draw close to Him.

It is our sinful nature that wants to know the ways of God and then declare these things for “our” glory so we can overcome the world instead of declaring our position in Christ who is the One who has overcome the world (John 16:33, 1 John 5:4)!  Satan is working overtime in the last days, aiding and abetting the “Health and Wealth” preachers and the “Signs and Wonders” preachers, in order to deceive the “true” church of Jesus Christ.  And the final line of apostasy is when the Church of Jesus Christ joins itself with the mother of harlots … the Catholic Church!  And this line has been crossed!  Lord have mercy on those deceived.  People repent and “come out” of these large mega church Abominations and Denominations.  Return to your first love … Jesus Christ.  Open up your Bible and read the word of God.  Pray for forgiveness and mercy to live in these last day for Him and be found worth of the grace He has bestowed to you for your salvation.
