Becoming a P31W – Do you respect you husband?

A man is to love his wife… a woman is to respect her husband….this is the most important thing a wife can do in her marriage because to a man, respect is more important than love. If a wife respects her husband in the home and this is even when she doesn’t think he deserves it, she will not only be obeying her Heavenly Father, she will in time win the heart of her husband…I cannot stress this enough.

Once a man is respected within the home, he has a chance of being respected outside. There is a great sense of pride to be felt when a husband is respected outside the home and a Proverbs 31 wife sees this. Praying for your husband is a must even when you don’t feel like it. He is to be the head of the household and respecting him within will help him to respected from without. Have conversations with your husband about what you can do to help him. We are to be his helpmeet…no marriage is easy…but prayer, faith, trust in the Lord and a lot of patience will help you on the path to a better marriage.
